Tribute Proposal.

I am on the TJP side but I am posting as a player not as a representative of my alliance.


Proposal:

1. FUALL remove the requirement of "NEVER rejoining a TJP alliance ever".
2. TJP remove the "ancient list" and consult former members of those alliances and said members before enacting fee's and/or further massings.


As a former member of Alpha and current member of TG, I'll advise if you ask me.


I think that tributes have gotten out of hand.




Is there anyone who is willing to reach out from the other side and post support, or offer suggestions? No one point of few is infallible. Let this be one of the few joint ventures in this war.

It all relates to the big server war, and what is demanded by each side to allow people to leave the war. To put it simply, one side is demanding naquadah payment, the other that you are to never join or rejoin a long list of alliances.

i dont like the part where your not allowed to return you just might not want to be in the war, the naq part is good i like that and think i voted prop

I think from the options above the 1st is the best, hence y i voted for it, BUT if fuall removes their 'problematic condition', it is only fair that TJP does the same.

The tributes should go along with the list which is inaccurate.

I don't think people should be forced never to rejoin, just never to rejoin for the duration of the war

Only individual surrenders will be accepted. Surrender fee (to of course ensure that nobody from the surrendered guys will support or fund their allies) is 1 days worth of income (non crit/nox). Still sounds acceptable to you?

Thats the whole point of being in an alliance, to be there to fight next to 1 another and have each others back, if you leave because you dont want to be in the war then you shouldnt be allowed back in the said alliance.

Voted for #1, although it doesn't matter regardless if they return to the Alliance.. if they leave during times of war, they most likely won't get back in any time soon.

exactly thats the whole point of being in an alliance, and if you dont want to go to a war and have a valid reason go on vacation mode, why surrender at all

stick and fight, surrender is not an option, unless the fighting stops as per agreed by all parties then thats the only time you stop

Your example contain a major flaw, TJP didnt attack FUALL then demand tributes, FUALL attacked US. Which put's our tributes in a whole different light. Such as (and heres a rather exteme example) I wouldn't mug someone, but if they were to damage my property then just try to walk away, id be putting their face into the floor and checking how much money they have so i can fix what they broke.

I love how all of you are constantly saying 'they hit me first', that just kills me, both sides started this war so get over yourselves, both sides were planning on hitting the other and both sides wanted to fight one another, does it really fraking matter who made the first mass anymore?

I think that if either side really wanted to make a 'terms of surrender' then they would be men enough to step up and talk to each other from both sides and come up with what they would both be happy with to let those that want to leave leave.

You can fight with someone in game and be mortal enemies all the time but still be respectful and reasonable towards one another when it comes down to your members, your alliances, your empires and your friends.

I met alot of my now close friends by massing and fighting with them for ages, heck some of you may remember how me and Fury used to go at each other but we still talked to one another from time to time and then there is Jenny, Bill, and many others that I fought against a few times and am still good friends with to this day.

If either side really wanted to show that they were reasonable, benevolent, leaders, elite or anything else you wish to call yourself then you would work out an agreement that both sides agree with rather than just bickering over the little stuff.

I fought many alliances in my time both with Omega and by myself sometimes and never have I asked for a tribute from anyone, I have never believed in it but it was not my decision to make most of the time.
