"Your staff is broken" and other quotes out of context

[Juliette]

Gandalf : No. Come down, Saruman and your life will be spared.
Saruman : Save your pity and your mercy. I have no use for it !

Saruman's staff throws a ball of fire towards Gandalf. But the fire makes him no harm. Saruman looks amazed.

Gandalf : Saruman... your staff is broken.

Yeah.. always figured that staff was broken if it fires a magnificent firebolt of nothingness.. really.. what a joke.
