well i thinks it would be a good way to see who the girls of sgw are but dont you thing that there are guys that would chose the girl names and just confuse every buddy on what gender they really are

Maybe in the User Preferences could be a check box for male or female. But as you mentioned, not sure about the coding. :-)

hmm i see a god as being of either sex. other options such as princess would be cool though. then i could be a pretty princess of the indu. men have been really selfish with names etc over the years so ya i think things should be more equal. but i draw the line at people calling snowmen snow people. thats a step too far imo (thats in my opinion, abbreviated to save time)

It's as easy as adding the tok'ra as option for those who refuse to be System Lords after ascension, knowing it's just a decoration as all ascension races have the same statistics, based only on how many ascensions you've done... it has been mentioned to Admin Jason and yet he never did either of those updates... :(

Yes it had many people who wanted to go forward with it

People argued that God could be construed as either gender, I wanted Goddess, I got it when I got my Custom Name for playing forever...

I think the main argument over this whole thing was that people don't want certain accounts doted on because someone is a female/pretending to be.. and or otherkind of gender.. and overall lead to more scamming and/or stalking/harassment.

I was originally named Tweetybum when I started the game and after being asked what it meant so often just changed it to Tweetygirl. Some women want to remain anonymous to gender and to be known for their actions rather than gender. I think that is why we don't have female titles. To create some sort of equality.

A tick box for preference would solve the problem. Those who want to be know, tick it, those who don't assume a male gender on titles. Some of the later ascension titles - like those for ascension 18 and stuff do have a female descriptor in there.

lol though right now taking on those I believe are the top 3-4 female accounts ingame could be rather ... interesting.

Yeah everyone thought so awhile ago, it was just never done. I didnt want to be a living god... i wanted to be a goddess..

lol.. it was way way back on the old forum .. i dont know if that was archived into the upgrade and change to the new forum.

I think it was called Living Goddess thread or something of that nature... at least you looked :-D

a lot of the old school players would have been seen on there.. lol Puck, Corky, Hammy.. :lol: of course there wash the argument that .. not all us gals fit into the "goddess" category.. but the argument swung to the other direction of :lol: :lol: and what makes you worthy of being a god?
