For $10 you can apply to the Protected Planet Treaty Board.
This gives you 48 Hours of Protection from Attack and Sabotage UNLESS you attack, spy or sabotage another player, which cancels your protection immediately.
After 48 hours, your application ends, and you will NOT continue to be protected. (The board never accepts anybody anymore....)
THE EFFECT IS NOT CUMULITIVE - there is ALWAYS a 48hour maximum on your protection (ie - the board only accepts one application at a time from you)
