a few question

hello i have a few question-
1) about the ascendtion - in one guide it says that when i ascend, i can become an ancient, tolan, system lord and so on, and in anothar guide it says that i can become indu, tollah, ori and so on.. so whats true?
2) about pregatory - i read a guide about it, but the guide only told me what are the minuses to someone who switched to that realm, but i still dont understand what is that and how can it help me?
3) when i switch back to normal realm, do i lose something?
4) how does a planet with a defence as a worldwide attribute helps me? i mean - i dont see any change in my defence stats or anythin alse...
5)what the diffrence between mercanry and normal troop?
6) umm thats all for now

1. the ancient, tolan, system lord, or nano ti master are ur race like if u are an asgard right now u become an ancient, tauri=tollan, gouald=system lord, replicator=nano ti master. the ori, ajna, tollah, and indu are ur ascended race. they are what race u become on the ascended server and u become prior of ori, or whatever race u pick and so-on.
2. pergatory is for smaller or more inactive people to come to be safe from the big army sizes in normal realm. so if u want to grow away from the big guys come to pergatory.
3. when u switch back to normal from pergatory it takes 720 generic attack turns but thats it.
4. a planets defense doesnt help ur defense stat it helps protect the planet from people trying to steal it.
5. u have to have super trained soldiers to get mercenarys and there is a limit on the number of mercenarys based on how many supers u have. also mercenarys are weaker than normal troops.

Yes that is correct. When you ascend you get to chose whether you want to be Tolah, Indu etc...

There are 6 different types of planets:

1) UP
2) Income
3) Defence
4) Attack
5) Covert / Anti Covert
6) Blank

Each planets attributes (besides 6) adds to your whole account. However, each planet has it's own defences which you build by using naq. Those defences are only used to defend that particular planet.

However, if you have 0 defence stats and you have a planet with an attribute of 1,000,000,000 defence bonus, then your account defence will still be 0 because you need to have defences in place already.

Oh and No. 6 - the blank planet, that is extremely rare and you only get it if you are very unluck and build one on the market. I've never seen it happen myself.

umm ok so if i do have a defences (on the home world - soldiers, on the defence attribute planet - defence facilities) how is it working?

Your home world, i.e. the thing EVERYONE has, even if you don't have any additional planets, don't have the same type of defences. You have to defend it with your defence soldiers.

A defence attribute planet can contribute defence to your home world, but only half as much as your soldiers can. I.e. if your soldiers can defend with 100 mil power, your defence attribute planet can contribute up to 50 mil power, depending on how much facillities it has.

The defence attribute planet can be stolen by someone, so it must be defended by building defences on the planet. That is done with Planetery Defences. They cost only naq, and not units.

Mmm - my reply doesn't seem to actually answer the question.
If someone attacks you for naq or try to raid (kidnap) your untrained units, your home world's defences (the soldiers) will try to defend. If your soldiers are stronger (look at your Defensive Action in the Command Center) you win, otherwise you lose.

If someone tries to steal your planet, only their Mothership's fleets will attack the planet. Your planet's defences will then retaliate, and again you will win if your planet's defences are stronger than their mothership's fleets' power.

if you have upgraded your att/def/income planet to have 30b att/def/income will it still have 30bill att/def/income after you asend?
the def you have on your planet, will that go away when you asend?
my MPDPs will the lose all of there sweet killing power?

When you ascend, you will not loose planets and their attributes and defenses, nor will they decrease.
MPDSDs... you don`t loose them, you can`t have them stolen. When you ascend you get 10 more MPDSDs to use at your own will. A MPDSD when is activated hides one of your planets (the one where you activated it) for 1 day and then it is consumed.

okay so i am at 999 glory and trying to figure out how many UU i need for Ascension i know its x25 UP but is that total UP like inclueding planet bonuses? or is it raw up before my planets are figured in? i only ask because its like x2 differance in numbers

when you get 1001 just click the ascention link and see. you have a requirements page, and you can back out of it without ascending so no worries.
