whats the best TV scifi show ever made?

i'm torn between the original BSG and Babylon 5.

i love the idea of the original BSG that we came from an ancient benign race that migrated here and also seeded the 12 colonies, which get destroyed and they come in search of a lost colony.

the new BSG is a major let down that the benign colonies are now as hostile as we are and the stories bore me to tears, they also made way to many changes to the characters...shame on the producers.

B5 i love because unlike other shows the story and characters were always evolving unlike other shows captain kirk is captain kirk from show to show and the same applies with the stargate shows.

as much as i love the stargate shows, in B5 characters move on or die and others replace them and do things there way and all the characters have very human qualities and frailties, and many have tragedy's happen to them forcing more character change leaving the viewer thinking thats not right what happened to him/her.
the underlying story of B5 is unique and completely original, an excellent show and its a shame it didnt carry on a couple more seasons, there was so much still left to tell.
