they jumped from them being in the espada world back to a normal somewhat life, i wanted to see ichigo fight halibel damnit >.<!!!!

if you go back his symbol was a somewhat looking zero actually if i rember right or it was a <|> style like that something it was different then that of the shinigami world though..

and as for the new captain i unno he seems stronge and smart hard to say .

well in order for the anime fillers to end, all filler characters must die imo
only exception were the mod souls from the bounto arc, but haven't seen them in some time.
but i doubt they can go on filler characters in the squads.
I heard somewhere 8 more episodes to go with fillers but haven't verified it yet

about Kurosaki Ishin, it's indeed a nice theory that he was a squad-zero-captain
i don't think he still is now, since he hadn't been a shinigami for 20 years.
that would also explain why none of the current ppl have a clue about Ichigo's father..
or they must be really stupid since they all know his last name so to not see the link with Ishin.

Reminds me of why I stopped watching bleach after the first filler arcs.

IMO fillers are horrible. Why I tend to stay away from long series like bleach and Naruto. No complaints about the manga though, since they don't have fillers Depending on how far along the manga is compared to the animated series, it will switch into filler mode until the manga gains a bit of ground or else the animated series will overrun the manga version.

as is right now i think the manga is a bit ahead of bleach...

i know in naruto the manga is well over 50 eps to even think of being close to catch up, so i dont think bleach is the to far off but again i dont read manga (comics kinda not my thing)

my justification

[spoiler]Ishin is a captain level shinigami, and also a shinigami who in effect retired or was "decomisioned"

if we consider the fact that he wears a captain sash, this implies that he is/was a captain

his rieatsu was unknown to Shinji when he was talking to Ichigo and Ishin was killing Grand Fisher[/spoiler]

i think that Ishin is a member/captain of squad zero, i mean, if he WAS a captain, he could well have been promoted to squad zero, just like captain Hikifune (who i also think will appear, otherwise there was no point naming her)

BTW these fillers BLOW. And everytime I hope they're wrapping up I get disappointing.

As for the manga, the next fight on the docket should be cool . I just want the captains to join in

something's going to happen to Amagi b/c i doubt that kubo would write him into the manga. Although it is possible that after the Aizen ark is over that the manga may end, without revealing new captains. That would allow the filler captain to stay.

and yes I've been thinking that about Isshin as well. he was a captain, presumably left soul society about 20 years ago, so most people of high rank in SS should know of him. and giving the raw power he has, they should know of him, unless he was/is part of that super elite secret squad 0.
