Nox are strongest. Ancients would have been strongest, but they're not in physical plane anymore.

besides, the goau'ld never ruled the galaxy completely. the Ori ruled their own galaxy but they're all gone. the goau'ld never could rule completely because of the asgard and later, because of the tauri.

Well. Lets talk on a physical plain as basically the Ori + Ancients pawn all the races as ascended beings

Ancients and Ori are the strongest in technical terms and understanding the universe but the wraith whipped the ancients using there greater numbers.

Now, the ancients had some big flaws. 1) They are not aggresive enough and 2) they do not know how to fight a fight.

The Ori have the same understanding of the universe but it has never been shown what would happen if they had been allowed to enter the Milky way directly
They do have agression on there side and I believe would of given the wraith a much harder time as the ancients where scared enough to tell the Tauri how to find items to stop them, so it tells you that the Ori are truly powerful, but limited to the followers.

Asurans/replicators have the potential to be powerful, but are flawed as they believe they are all powerful and this is there undoing.

The replicators kicked the Asgard arse so technically there are stronger then the Asgard.

Goauld. Now, this is a ME persepctive not the persona I play in game.

The Goauld are very powerful. Do not understimate the Goauld know how. They have modified other races weapons to aid themselves and have not had help from other species (Tauri + Asgard + Ancients).

The biggest weakness is that the Goauld do not allow there Jaffa armies the resource to make them powerful. The Goauld use personal forcefields which they could of given to there jaffa soldiers.

Also, the jaffa tunic is not adapted to fighting. More to scare there enemies. Also there weapons are not precise. So, basic facts are the goauld are stronger then the Tauri as they have had no help readily with there weapons technology. The Goauld like to show there Jaffa that they are gods and use magic

Nox are pants. True they have defensive abilities but not the aggresive naturer to do anything.

Retu are the same. The Goauld smashed them

Furling: No idea, but again most likely not as those 4 alliances where peace like in nature

Tollan: The potential. They are possible the step in between ancients and Tauri. However, they have flaws and do not have the numbers to truly rule

Tauri: With no help, then they would be pawned. With the technology given by the asgard and ancients then they are very powerful. They can adapt to different ways other races fight but, still lack the overall knowledge to do damage. Potentially the most powerful species


So, to bring this to a conclusion. On a mortal plain then the toughest sons of a guns I would have to say would be the Wraith.

They have shown they are equal or surpass the Tauri in knowledge. They are aggressive and in time would change there tactical behaviour when confronting there enemies.

If the ancients got there arse kicked + the asurans where “de-programmed” so this kakes them worth winners.
