A while ago, some braniac by the name of mojo sinking was cryn over that its posible to mass with lower strike than def, so eventualy the damage to attacking troops was raised and made sorta dynamic so smaller strikes took in alot more damages.
This in a weird way affected those of us who had attack planets, as damage was calculated by power, and dealt so too, so you ended up loosing alot even thoug you sent in only a small attack force backed up by planets.
Later on that got "fixed", now for the past few weeks i seem to be seeing the same dejavu all over again
up to 5% losses on successful attack and up to 16 or so % losses on a failed attack..
thats all lovely and sweet, but the problem is losses in defence are caped to 2.5%...
all of that makes attacking a bit less (alot actualy) profitable, even for those of us who "specialized" in it(meaning biger mss, attack planets, ect...).
now while i get that defs arent ment to go away like butter on sun the real problem is this doenst realy affect massings.
Most massings nowadays are done with 1at, simply because they (for some odd reason) turn the losses to "wirtualy" non existing and make massing as cheap as it can get.
TY for taking the time, when you actualy do to look into it, if you need any refference logs, feel free to check ids22221 incoming and outgoing
