Unbalanced races

just so u know thire is 401 tauri in the top 1000s.
second you complain that you can't attack like the otheres will i can't get incume like you cuz i buy alot more spys that kill my incume all you have to do is get mercs. and increes the unit preduction and your just fine and dandy.
third if you rally want more naq then attack at 5 in the morning or right befor noon.
yes i do know what it is like to spend 60k on repairs i do it every day.
and if you rally want to use the attack turns be a suporter and send them to a friend that is a tauri (and also a suporter) have him use them.

That's very nice there are that many Tauri. HOWEVER it's all relative. Have you looked at total realm count recently? The better way to look at it is the first page. I think it's been done, and it was definitely favoring the Goa'uld.

Second we all have to buy spies, not just reps. If you are a replicator (i'm assuming) than you already save millions on your spy upgrades, giving you an advantage in that respect and making it so you have to own less spies.

Third if you really want more income don't buy spies.

And as it stands now, I find myself doing just that. Giving away my attack turns to somebody that can actually USE them. As it stands I either need to farm somebody, or attack somebody hundreds of ranks lower than I am. Neither of which is really fun or honorable.

I understand that this "comes with the badge" when I chose to be Asgard. For now, actually, I'm more concerned with the recent update's qualities. I'm not as concerned with whatever I said here, so just drop whatever it is you're still agitated about.

okay my main problem with this upgrade is that i lost what i felt was my advantage. if your covert eff went from lets say 4mill to 3.3mill and your attack went from 206k to 209k then would u not also be mad. i felt that i should have the same attack has the gouald and rep cause they don't have a bonus also i felt that i was getting an even attack eff with those two races at the expense of my defence. this is my problem that and i don't think anyone (except forum) know how all the bonuses work.

i understud the bonusus....and im begining to understand haw the upgread works.....and sincerly i see 2 things.....forum had a very good reason for the upgreads...if u lock at things not so subjective...but more objective......and 2.......the upgrades wouded had any real impact...as forum sad...if u guis.....the ones that lost mil in bonus and gained a couple of 100k.......woud have plaid the game as it is supose to be playd.......its actualy your mustake in all this....instad of playng like u shoud....invest in all bonusus....u invested in wath get u a biger bonus......and that is not the way to grow in ranks....therefor its not the way to play....
u play to grow in ranks and be the best(at general)....not to be the best at one section........got it...this is haw the game works and incoreges.......

and as i sad...i undarstend haw the bonuses work....i truly do....u just have to lock at the overall game...not at your race/person.......

and now u will say goauld and reply got higher in rank......that is somehow corect....but only the ones that were aporoximatly echuel at both ranks affected by the upgread.....if they war like u guis....just attack/deffence than thy did fall in ranks........so the bothom line is:invest in all bonus and u will be helt by the game......invest in one and get burned......afterall ...as i sad the game is about being echuel in rank at all things....attack/defence/spy(talking in rank)

The poor Tauri and asguard, they got done again... first they complain that 10% off wepons is nothing compared to the 10% off spy levels.... (they buy less weapons, lower repair costs, less trianed soldiers needed) then they complain about the levels being balanced more... you were the ones that went on about the difference sooooooo much, now YOU got Forum to look closely at it and now it has been made more balanced.... I know allot of you would like it reversed... well you should have thought about that before you complained so much...

I actually agree too. I think a lot of the tau'ri complaining is silly

BUT, the goa'uld attack was given a boost too and that is why suddenly 12 of the 24 spots on the first page are occupied by goa'ulds, and the asgard did in fact get screwed as far as I can tell. Their attack"bonus" gave them an extra 200 points per attack weapons (22200 before and 22400 after) compared to losing about 7000 per defense weapon (about 52000 before and 45000 after)

Now in all honesty put your race aside and tell me does that really sound like it would help? I don't play an asgard but if I did I wouldn't be happy either.

The tau'ri on the other should be seeing that this change has helped.

But the reps and the goa'uld still do hold an advantage.

i think the fact that there is so much debate over who really got an advantage, who benefited, who did not -- and the fact that not everybody agrees -- shows that minimally it is very close
i will take that as success....

looking at all the feedback, and doing some behind the scenes math, the final touches of the fort/seige balance are done.

let's see how it plays out !!
