Setting peace after each ascension

Setting peace after each ascension
I don't understand why you have to set peace or war with everyone yet again after each ascension. It would be so much easier if the people who have declared peace/war stayed what they were prior to ascension instead of having to do it over and over again.

yes but aren't there more important things to do after ascension rather just clicking on declare peace a bunch of times. In all likelyhood , your relations between players are going to change between ascensions.

Well its much easier they it use to be thats for sure. Now with the ability to set entire alliances to peace in one click.

how do you do that? I know total peace set peace between you your officers and a player and his or her officers. but how do you do an entire alliance?
