Spoils

Hey guys,

This may be asked before (I never saw an answer that matched this particular q) but what determines how much money you make per attack. I know that you also need to have a higher attack than their defense. So far I know of 3 things:

1) How far apart the rankings are (its better to attack close and someone higher than yourself)

2) How much money the guy has to start off

3) How many turns you use

That said how come when I get attacked by someone in the 1400s I lose all my money (I am in the 2800s). However if I attack someone who is higher than me (I just did someone in the 2400s), I only got 30% of their total money considerig my troops spent 110% of their time plundering. I also checked afterwards to make sure he hadn't by chance spent it (one of those freak coincidences) and he didn't.

I only ask because this isn't a one off thing. It happens all the time.

So my question is what else modifies my money:turn ratio and what shoud I do to improve it?

Thanks for the reply man.
But unfortunately doesn't answer my question all that well (seriously no offense but not a great believer in luck myself)

Its not like a one off. It happens every time. And its not like I ever get left with any money myself (I am not complaining about attacks and all. Just how some guys are really good at plundering)

Since I am actively posting now, I would also like to ask if anyone thinks that the Tauri defence is insanely low. Like I once attacked some guy with 350 offensive Nid against his 833 defence NID and I won convincingly. What is actually up with that? (not actually suggesting a game change but it is an interesting onservation I belive)

declaring war on a person makes it so you can get more of that person's naquahad.

If you want to ensure (best you can) that you steal ALL the Naq on show you need to do:

1. Ensure your attack strike is considerably higher then the target's defensive strike (expl: Amount of naq plundered depends to a slight degree on how much of a pounding you give the target)
2. Attack close to rank OR attack upwards (expl: If you attack too far down your troops will lose interest in the target before they get there thus lowering morale and crippling weapon effectivity and plundering. Attacking closer to you ensures a better chance of a higher steal. Attacking upwards imbues your units with a rage from the morale of attacking a stronger player, they will fight better and steal more)
3. Declare WAR. (expl: there is no surer way to ensure a healthy grab from your target. If you declare war you steal a higher percentage and 7/10 times i steal 100%. As with all things there is cost however, you will lose more units and suffer greater weapon damage)
4. Spend 15 turns (expl: i am not even sure that it is at all possible to steal 100% without these last two factors, 15 turns and declare war)

I hope this helps :)
