Have odds of Ascended Blessing changed ?

I've noticed that since the update I get far less ascended blessings, I used to get roughly 1 AB every 3rd 15AT attack, now I can go up to 8 15AT attacks with out getting an AB.

This is seriously not good when you time and use ABs to farm people with bigger defs

lol seems odd, maybe they are being made more random, id like it to be like that as that is generally how it was designed to be a random blessing to kick in every now and again, not something to be able to guess.

Seems like yet another bug tho.

i we gone up to 31 hits whout AB record, that was be4 the new updates... after i have no clue, i doubt i even found 31 profitable hits since the updates

mine have always been random. It can kick in 3 times in a row then nothing for many turns. I have never had a constant pattern.

It seems like it has, but probably hasn't.

Orpheus and I were massing Fallout's defense.. I was looking at Orpheus logs via Officer.. and Fallout has a HUGE amount of blessings. 6/10 hits were blessings. He blessinged once 7x in a row.

my sugestion to admin was to keep it random but introduce a lvlout function into it.. like you got a random 25% chance of a blessing, but it lvls out evry 40 hits or so.. meaning in 40 hits 10 are blessed or something... cause it was realy silly at some times.... spec like you say.. you go farming see 10hits no blessing see a def you need a blessing and you say to yourself well. I m gonna get it anyways and than you dont for 20 hits... its ridiculus

there would also be lovely if blessings came in when you realy needed them.. aka its stupid you get a blessing when hitting 3 def... idk some kind of triger if def is less than 1/5th of your strike you dont get a blessing as you dont need it or something as "gods" only help when its needed...

ie. hit 20 people with no defense, then hit someone with higher defense then your attack, you'd almost be guaranteed to get it.

meaning they dont count as hits with blessings they dont count as hits without blessings just take them out of the equasion totaly...

i m not so sure it lvls out deni... like i said i did once a statistic on 500hits i made it came less than 25%, not to talk about 33% ag should have acording to admin....

It is a random % and this has been covered many times before... just because it doesn't happen once every 4 attacks doesn't mean it isn't working... thats why its random...

You could technically play the entire game for 2 years with ascended blessing of 25% and not get a single AB... unlikely but entirely possible... but if such a situation would ever occur I'd like to think all my hits would become AB's to balance it out

Yes Rook, it is random. That's why the law of large numbers should apply and it definitely does in my case with a sample of only 300 hits

Using myself as a standard of average activity (3,160 attacks in the last 10 days), I get that the probability of not getting an AB in 2 years to be 1.355936018714730814e-28821.

However, the probability of not getting an AB for 8 attacks straight is still 10%, so this isn't unreasonable or statistically anomalous for MEZZANINE - this should theoretically happen quite often. As the others have said, the law of large numbers (whereby the value of a random variable tends towards the expected value as the number of tests tends to infinity) will eventually come into effect here.

Also "timing" AB is not possible. Even if you had 20 hits without an AB, the probabilty of getting an AB on your 21st hit is still 25% (for a LG+1), so the same as before the 1st hit
