nOOb status and how to throw it off
Sigh.........how long does it take before you are no longer considered a nOOb? Is it hours logged, rank, crapping on in the Chat room for 3 weeks or what? Someone enlighten me here please.

i would say you are way past noob status. Thats of course because of my really good guidiance. Just ignore me if i try to tell something about sabbing.
I think you can be a noob in only certain areas of the game. like me still making mistakes in sabbing and i am ranked in the top hundret since quite some time.

well, heres a big question.
n00b status... i think by the very definition of n00b, it'd take a long time...
but we should define these (again) so that we know what a n00b is.
Newb:
newbie, player who just started, usually needs/asks for some help in learning the game and how it works.
n00b:
player, been playing a while, hasn't really picked up on the game mechanics, plausiblity of annoying the "vets" by claiming to be "good" while really not being. generally "refusing" to learn how to play.
Player:
been playing a while, learning the game mechanics. not particularly special on his own, but dangerous in groups.
Vet:
player, been playing a long time, knows some game mechanics, respected player. ranks high, well known.
and that my friends, is basically my understanding of the newb/n00b status'
