Your English isn't poor.. it is a play on words.

The concept of an "Education Programme" is, in the SGW Universe, similar to a mass genocide on someone's account. No judgement whatsoever thereof.
The concept of an education programme in the real world is to teach people things.

I interpreted ThunderCat's words as a sigh of exasperation with the people who do not learn to get their accounts sorted, an interpretation that was reinforced with TC's post on how to keep your ascended account alive and well. *That* was where I saw the education programme.
Playing on the difference between the "Education Programme" (as common in SGW) and an education programme, I built that sentence you quoted.
I trust this.. elaboration, was sufficient?

people who are clueless about ascended can do what i did. i learned what i needed to ascend decently on my 1st ascen, then once i got access to ascen board, i read over everything i could find on there. i played around with messing with dead/inactive accounts of no name alliances. took me 3 weeks to figure it out. after that point i started asking questions of what i didnt know.

I made mistakes along the way with ascending, & i literally lead people in my alliance by the hand on to ascend & what they should do. i took in what each players playing style was, what their intentions were for ascending, what they wanted todo on ascnesion. i took all that in & i gave them a step by step process of what tech lvl's they should increase & by how much before they proceeded to the next step. i told all of them to keep as low a profile as possible untill they were sufficiently ready(depending what they wanted todo on ascension) to start attacking/farming people on ascension. them building up their tech lvls took anywhere from a week to 2-3 months. while they were doin this, i told that what did what, & what they should do if a paticular thing happened to them.

I did all this to try to maximize their resources in building their ascension accounts to whatever goals they had for ascension while minimizing any wasted resources. by the time they were ready to go out & do stuff they were good as anyone who played on ascen on their own for 3 to 6 months of active playing(not counting the time they build up their ascen account initially).

Used no guides for my alliance, i did it all one on one as much as possible.

well but does it even matter if you have no assasin power or if you have a lot of it..

most ppl have big levels so they would just slap up their recources planets as assassin and have a nice rank1 assassin power to have their way on your account.
i mean i atm have rank 48 in assassin but a lot of ppl could have that and much more by simply training some planets

You can have 2billion planets in every stat with levels well over 1000 and still not be totally safe. All it would take is 3 people with a high level in just 1 of either Assassin, strike or covert to team up and destroy you. only train what your willing to lose, and try to juggle it so most people wont find it worth destroying you.

most people have to chose between a good amount of resource planets and descent stats to save the DMU, or a much lower income with good stats to defend it, that can either be a mid size defence and assassin, meaning they get hit by large strikes but they wont risk being destroyed, or, like the guy the thread is about, a much bigger defence with little to no assassin, so they wont get hit but have a huge risk of getting thier account destroyed.

Only way to be as "safe" as possible, is have large levels, and a huge CER, so you minimise your losses and regain them quickly.

There is also the method of controlled income. Training resource planets when online or able to spend the DMU often, and then untraining and lieing inactive when unable to log in or during sleep.

I did it for the ones i liked. plus the side affect of me doing that was the newbies to ascension I trained(after a month or 2 of acutal playing ascen, not counting the time i trained them) could somewhat effectively train other newbies to where they didnt feel like they were thown to the sharks not even knowing how to swim.

It worked very effectively for me both ingame & RL. from me doing this i made a few friends online. one of them , we talk regularly on msn. Game wise, they couldnt do much for me on ascension(because i was bigger than they were), but on main was different. On main i made very solid alliances with a few of them ingame(& In RL made a few friends out of them online). One of them went above what i was even expecting. He wasnt very large on main & he gets/picks a few share of his fights(that he regularly gets thrashed on), but if i need something done or needed quick backup, he was there no questions asked. if a particular target was out of his range, Id build him up until he could compete with said target, or i would offer to replace/rebuild whatever he lost taking on said target. half the time he wouldnt take what i was offering to replace what he lost.
IF he wasnt living 1/3 of a world away, I would have considered takeing a mini vacation from work & going to see him for a few days to hang out.

To address the author, ask a question on the ascended general discussion and it will usually be answered by someone with expertise in the matter. It is true though that the elite players of main are not always the elite players of ascended. Different servers appeal to different tastes.

Assassins should be half the defenses in my opinion to prevent random deprivations. A determined assault will destroy any defense, but that is true of any server. An example: for 300 million defense networked planets equals a 1.5 billion planet investment so you should have 750 million assassins.

Always be willing to experiment a little to find out how something works for yourself. Like Ishtar66 did. Don't just take the experts word. Test it out for yourself. The other day I tried out using regular attack planets instead of networked planets. The losses were horrendous, so I went back to networked strike.

300mill networked defenders? That is alot to lose, especially if they have hunted those 750mill asassins...

I would say as in every server only train what you are willing to lose as sooner or later you will piss some one off and get your ass massed.

It was just an example. If you can't afford the assassins to compliment the defense then you will lose it a lot sooner then otherwise.

Most of the advice I give is not of the lay low and try not to get noticed variety.

People need the 20q defenses so that I am one of the few that can steal their DMU. Silly rabbit, trix are for kids!

Ascended is screwed, admin made it that these so called "snipers" can just farm as much as they want, get massed and sit happy for another few days while they regrow, rinse and repeat, if he was to remove the 1/3 LF per hit modifier, then we might have a different story.....

iv only been ascended for maybe 8months? So i dont know what it was like before, but i like it. The growth is abit ludacris but thats what makes it fun, you dont have to have a massive account there to put up a decent fight.

@the person who said about decension, i say try it. If you can do it il give you 1q dmu...
