How did ascended get so full of these guys?

iv only been ascended for maybe 8months? So i dont know what it was like before, but i like it. The growth is abit ludacris but thats what makes it fun, you dont have to have a massive account there to put up a decent fight.

Id be more then willing to help a newb with ascension questions, I wouldnt say I am an expert, but I am very experienced.

back on topic, I as well during farming saw WAY to many players with several quads of defense (7-15+) and very little assassination. Some of these players had some assassination, but I wouldnt consider 30t assassination on a 12q defense intelligence I almost killed it for the 200t DMU I saw, instead I sent a polite PM saying you dont have near enough assassin strength, specially considering they had 40m neworked attack planets and 300m covert planets.

Yep, there's always someone who would be able to descend you if you're offline long enough. Okay, so some might take fairly long, but the majority can be descended if they don't log in.

Please don't descend him - I don't think he considered that you'll have to kill his def before doing the descension hits...

perhaps a short guid of asc server should exist so they can learn a little.

and a military experince like in main should exist in ascended

I am planing to do a blog for about ascended rules, because alot of players do not know how to play it, at first I didn't understand it ether. Now after playing around with it, I understand it almost as well as the Main Stargate Wars. The Ascended is vaguely similar to the main, like training, tech, mothershop, etc. but it's more like your a more of a Higher Being than man. hopefully I can get the Main Stargate blog done soon, and I'll start the Ascended Server. Well, that one was taught a lesson.

But it's true - quite a few ppl don't play ascension, and many don't know how. I suspect that many are still in the mindset that ppl get massed in ascended, while in reality assassins are more often used (in my experience, at least). Our alliance tries to teach basic ascended gameplay to our members, but fact is, ppl doesn't like playing ascended very much.

if u leave them untrained, they cant be touched, and if u have them as labourours, the can be untrained by "initiate revolution" but it doesnt kill em

well I think what he is trying to state, is having most if not all of your army trained is not smart since some people kill for fun. In ascension I wouldnt train more then 25% of your availble planets in massable stats. I wouldnt get bothered by getting hit for DMU, I would just farm as much as possible since you generate more income from stealing it then you do from producing it

By massable I mean anything that can be killed. That includes:

* Attackers & Super attackers
* Defenders & Super defenders
* Covert agents
* Assassins

Having 100 army size in total, of which 30 are defenders (or 6 super defenders), 25 are covert agents and 25 are assassins means that someone can kill 80 of your army, leaving you with only 20. Now that would be sad, I think.

Still think ascended needs alot of work to make it somewhat more enjoyable, but so far its like playing Beta server, lots of things to destroy and always an unlimited amount of resoruces to have fun using.

Haha you beat me too it, im always running out of ATs up there. It makes you use more "strategy" when destroying people i guess tho whiich is good, unlike in main where aslong as you have the naqyou can buy unlimited ATs...

the only issue in asc are the at's , perhaps its best to generate more so those that play can use them to farm / mass and those that sit can convert them or just sit.

Conversion is a joke.

The lack of AT is the only good and decent thing about ascended to me.
