Descension Defending

I don't know if this is by design or by fault, but if one is attacked by one significantly weaker than oneself then the 1/3rd reserves max damage does not come into effect if you are the defender.

For example:
Player A has 150mil LF reserves
Player B has 1.4bn LF reserves

Player A attacks Player B
Player A loses 140m LF. <-- Should this not be capped to 50m?
Player B loses 4m LF.

Re: Descension Defending

to best of my knowledge it is 1/3 of the person you are attacking. so it would be .467bil lf damage to the person u are attacking. if the 1.4 bil lf player hit the 150mil lf player than it would only be 50mil lf damage done by the 1.4bil lf player

That's what I had assumed, but it's not the case when defending... I wiped a guy down from 150mil (his max) reserves to 11mil in one hit.

The logs are in the spoilers (dunno if this is against the stat posting rule):

Me vs Him
xxx impales xxx with 229,383,680 of ascended damage.
The energy absorbing power, skill, and the unique skill of energy repulsion -usable only within ones own realm, and their constitution, lessens this by 181,368,680 to 48,015,000 total damage taken, thereby reducing their life force and reserves by this amount.

Wait...you realize that you actually dealt more damage, but the Ascended League of Battle (the 'rule makers' in ascended battles)intervened...The result is that you did the maximum amount of damage possible on them - one third of their total possible life force reserve (48,015,000)

xxx, at the same time, hits xxx with 17,501,468 total power, while also repulsing 40,142,144 of xxx's own attack back at them, for a total of 57,643,612 potential damage! This, though, by the energy absorbing power and skill of xxx, and their own constitution, reduces by 37,871,853 resulting in 19,771,759 total damage inflicted by xxx on xxx!
Him vs me:
xxx impales xxx with 16,229,070 of ascended damage.
The energy absorbing power, skill, and the unique skill of energy repulsion -usable only within ones own realm, and their constitution, lessens this by 12,332,470 to 3,896,600 total damage taken, thereby reducing their life force and reserves by this amount.

xxx, at the same time, hits xxx with 229,383,680 total power, while also repulsing 4,868,721 of xxx's own attack back at them, for a total of 234,252,401 potential damage! This, though, by the energy absorbing power and skill of xxx, and their own constitution, reduces by 90,392,145 resulting in 143,860,256 total damage inflicted by xxx on xxx!
143,860,256 is almost 3x greater than 48,015,000, which was listed as his 1/3rd max in the reversed attack...
