Well I've pumped up my CS on ascended A LOT during last few days - spent a couple QT DMU on it and it is in rank below 30 (ok I know this will change a bit when/if the server war ends but still, it's a nice achievment) and basicly the CS is more or less useless - it only gives you bragging rights if it's ranked high but other than increasing ur rank, it means nothing...Do you remember times when CS on ascended gave you an advantage when it came to battles? When it acctualy costed something to rebuild it when it got massed?
I do and I must say that those times were very good...CS acctualy meant something, not just a rank but a force to be reckoned with...and weapons & sheilds...boy they were expensive...unlike now when it's peanuts for everyone..
So I think this should be changed, it will add more excitment to ascended server, will make massing CSs a way to hurt ur enemy, to make costs for him, not for you and in wars those that'll have good CSs will have a bit of advantage...
Basicly what should be done is to make costs for volleys and sheilds (not capacity) 100 times more expensive, this way when u'd lose let's say 500k weapons and volleys, it wouldn't be peanuts to repair it (it would cost at the moment about 4T which is about half a turn of income of a medium account), but something that acctualy costs a bit, instead of 4T it should cost 400T.
Now it'd be acctualy worth to mass someone's CS, otherwise it's a waste of AT...It also won't be dissadvantage for newbies because good accounts will build up bigger CSs and the cost to buy volleys and sheilds to maximize their CS strenght will also be bigger. And let's face it - a newbie cannot have 500k volley & sheild capacity on his CS because it does cost too much...
And to make CSs worth to be building - something needs to be done about their strenght....As I said, my CS is preety good and it doesn't help me AT ALL when it comes to battles because even if I had 100T strike on it - it's still low considering defences and strikes are over 1QT power very easily. It shouldn't be increased for 100 times because then they'd be too strong...what I think would be much more balanced is about 20 times - top 30 CS would then (if it was constructed only with volleys) add 1QT to strike, IF you have at least 2 times bigger strike than attack power of ur CS is - that way you'd have to have decent strike to use full power of your CS - but let's face it, there isn't a CS that would be in top 30 ranks just with having attack on it....
So CSs would be usefull but wouldn't do all the dirty job for u - and they'd be expensive to repair aswell...
Next thing that needs to be balanced is APP exchange rate for life force cache...with decent income u get 1bil life force cache per turn (if u change DMU for LF)...now u do the maths how many APP u need to get for 1bil LF cache...it should be much more balanced...and instead of getting 16 bil LF for 8 MIL APP, u should make it that u get 320bil LF for 8 mil APP, cus to get 8mil APP u really need to have big raw UP and stuff like that on main, otherwise big ascensions are worthless...to trade a few weeks of work on main for something that you can get in a day or less on ascended? U've got to be kidding me...Even 320 bil LF isn't hard to get considering u can get 6 bil LF per attack, if u trade the DMU to LF, very easily..
So people, what are your comments on this matter? Should these things be balanced? And if someone would be kind enough to bring up this matter on admin meeting chat (I cannot be online that time due to real life), that'd be great
