Recent Developments.

Ok, I finally couldn't take the hypocrisy and arrogance of my side anymore. I'm done.

Before people get pissy about this, let me explain why.

1. The extortion of Flavar and Grizzly for naq, even though they were not in the war.

a. Flavar wasn't a member of Alpha when I returned, thus if he owes....many owe. He has never been in the conflict, and infact wasn't contributing taxes to any FUALL alliance before or during the war.

b. Grizzly was a "pianomutt" loyalist whom left alpha over my booting. At my request........Members of my side know this, were even present when it went down, yet they wish to extort him for naq even though he left before the war started at my request.....

c. I have tried to sort this behind the scenes MULTIPLE times, and every time I think it's taken care of they get ANOTHER msg demanding tril's of naq.....

BTW, I have had multiple msg's saying that they were removed......but then that's changed by someone else in the power base....

This shows absolutely no honor, and the people demanding naq refuse to answer my pm's requesting their reasoning and to come to an agreement that doesn't involve payment....As these are not our enemies.

I have repeatedly asked for certain people within TLE to conduct themselves with honor, and repeatedly been disappointed in their extreme LACK of said honor.

They claim to be honorable, yet I have seen no evidence of ANY honor on their side. They are just slightly more polite in their demands.

On a side note, the multiple alliance taxes grate on my nerves...Though that wasn't the catalyst of my decision, that was the msg that I received ingame.

"Im not gonna go through Bill it will only complicate matters and probably cause bad blood. If you want, since you have been much nicer than most :) and were (as far as I can tell) legitimately kicked, we can make yours 1T providing you post in the thread saying that you came to an agreement with me and are out of the war. And I will mark you as not to be hit on our list.

-----------------
is the newest,

i have no problem with one trill just with the idea...

and how many times it has to be cleaared again.

so what shall i do? "

I have tried communication within the alliance, I have tried pm's. Fine....They have made their decision, and I have made mine based on their honorless actions. As you see from the msg, they fully admit that Flavar was removed from alpha legitimately..... Some of the older players will remember him from AB as well as other alliances. He spent most of his active time helping the smaller players grow and learn.....Something I have always considered honorable.

When I joined TG at the request of a good friend of mine, they almost didn't take me because no "vote happened"..

Understandably, they didn't trust me due to my close ties to FUALL. I was at the time upset with how certain members of FUALL treated me
and trusted my friend. When I finally got the army size and the votes, I was accepted as a full member.

Their organization is so unorganized, that it amazes me that anything gets done. A few friends in FUALL knew that I chafed under how things were being ran, but I refused to give in and leave because I committed myself to them. This issue came up the first time months ago. I got it sorted......Then it rose again, and I told the powers that be that if it is not taken care of I would be forced to resign from the alliance......

Again, months went by and nothing was sent to Flavar and Griz........So I considered it taken care of.

Then they hit them again with a bill.....for no reason.

I even stayed when someone from my alliance raided me........(which pissed me off to no end).

Re: Recent Developments.

To answer the poll question, of course not. We had a huge argument over this before. 1.5T for somebody who bought an account and has nothing to do with the war.. but just because 'he/she gave attitude' to being extorted they are wanting him/her to pay. Rediculous.. :?

Exactly my point, I have never been a fan of the payments...and have argued at the highest levels.

Even then, I was willing to go along with it if it was an actual enemy.

But innocents just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Re: Recent Developments.

oh yeah, before i forget.

Admin put in an alliance tax feature so that individual players can't abuse their alliance for personal gain.... Here's the alliance wide msg I got...

I've seen far to many use taxes for personal gain. (remembers alpha and certain members who went to tanks, even though I advised against building those two up)

200mil+ army 2 tril
150mil+ army 1,5tril naq
100 mil+ army 1tril naq
50 mil+ army 500bil naq
under 50 mil 400 bil naq

I have 165mil therefore I will pay 1,5tril naq. ( around an income of one ppt)

Naq will be used for mothership upgrades. Probably Someoneiwon'tnameinforum.

I want this done till the new sgw week. Sunday 23:59 game time. Thats 4 days.

Re: Recent Developments.

It took you -this- long to work it out? ;)

Though at the moment it's not just TLE, it's also TAF extorting innocents. For those who claim to have been extorted in the past, they do take to it quite readily.

I knew it before, but i just tried to fix it from within. Sadly, i was ignored.

I haven't been happy since leaving my last alliance to be truthful. This was just the straw that broke the camals back.

Re: Recent Developments.

That makes me curious to your reasons for posting internal alliance matters on these boards? :)
I sympathise as far as I can, but all I see is disgruntled employees (i.e. an internal affair)?

Ah well.. I probably misunderstood. :(

Bill, wanna come chill out? ;)

I posted because internal channels didn't bring forth any results.

And, since i'm no longer in that alliance....I frankly don't care what they think of my opinion, since they obviously hold honor in low regard.

Nothing is quite so enjoyable then to see people post that it's honorable in the poll, but not the forum

I wouldnt' want to admit it either.

Re: Recent Developments.

I vote no. Extorting anyone for personal gains is a BIG NO. Using alliance naq for personal growth is a big NO as well.

Although it's a nice notion Bill, i don't think it will change much sadly. Nice to see that certain people in TJP notice things that some of us did some time ago as well
