It's part of the game - but only a small one.

Personally, and a lot of you already know this, the game went downhill for me with the combined introduction of Raid and limitless market AT (raid on its own was fine). This moved the game away from a situation where the best players were the ones who managed their accounts most effectively, picked their targets most effectively and managed their wars most effectively, to the situation where the best players became teh ones who were willing to sit down for hours on end and raid, mass, buy AT, raid mass, buy AT. This led to a new breed of arrogance in the game and the ludicrous situation where 1 player could battle entire alliances, whereas before co-ordinated attacks had to take place - i.e. most or all strategy/tactics had been removed.

If there wasn't those PPTs for buying uu I would be leaving this game now..
Lost interest in it, reasons remaining for why I played are becoming less and less visible to me sadly . Excepted build army by buying uu and doing not much more.

I do like the Main, and the Ascended wars, I even start playing a little more complicated version stargatewars game, which by the way isn't powered by the guys from StarGateWars.com. Now I'm thinking this is taking to much time and energy from me to play them all. I'm still playing them all because fun, but I'm now focusing on mostly the main wars.

i don't like the game atm but thats cuz my computer is broken and i can't get on enough to have fun with it... but once its operational again i will have a month of not being bored...
