are they just a fairy tail like peter pan?
i believe that the bible is correct when it says "giants walked the earth in those days". many human bones of enormous size have been dug up and even found in chinese medicinal shops which use bone ground into powder, in some of their herbal remedies.
theres even been a few documentaries about giants, and they also have shown much evidence to suggest they did/do infact exist, some giants recorded have been in excess of 35 foot tall!
there are many pictures all over the web and easily found which show skeletons of huge size being dug up.
theres also many photos from the past 100+ years showing modern men (yes and women) of extraordinary size.

the egyptians also recorded their history and told Herodotus that their history stretched back 35,500 years and that the first kings of egypt were the "Gods" who were succeeded by the "Demi-Gods" who were succeeded by the titans who were succeeded by the giants. (if memory serves correctly, thats the correct line of succession).
all this was shown and proved to Herodotus and he reported it as having received this knowledge first hand. i think Herodotus can be classed as a reliable and very credible source of information because when ever he reported something he told us if the information given to him was first hand or by some other means and makes the distinction VERY clearly.
the egyptians have documented that giants once walked the earth and ruled egypt for a time, as well as the babylonians and many other ancient civilizations also reported and documented such things, not to mention the storys of david and goliath found in the bible and the epic of gilgamesh as well as MANY other tales (i do not include jack and the beanstalk as that is a "bed time" story as far as i am concerned).
so with so much evidence which point to giants walking the earth can anybody dismiss it as a "fairytale"?
