how to QUICKLY recover from a massing?

Apogryph is right, no point getting pissed off about a massing, it gives you a chance to mass back.

Getting to the point raiding is the best way to recover from a massing and always will be.
My friend was massed yesterday, he started with 95.6mill army lost 8mill uu in the massing and today has 95.9mill army with less than 300k mercs...

I have been more of an aggressive raider since my induction into the server war, which has helped keep me from eating my army size to rebuild.

Although it depends. If you have a 58 mil army and you loose 33 million thats gotta hurt

I think that goes back to not investing too much uu into untrainables. When I was in perg, I did observe many with a huge strike, or defense, but they had no miners/uu to rebuild if they were massed. I have tried to communicate that to newer players I encounter.

Yes, raiding is a great way to recover, for instance, I just raided almost 17m UU ^^
