Not long ago, John McCain said he would not sit on the same table with Zapatero and his governement (for people who don't know, Zapatero is the democraticaly elected prime minister of Spain, Spain is a member of European Union, of NATO and who has troops in Afghanistan, as everyone does). He said the same about Ahmadinejad, the anti-israel Iranian president.
How could you explain that he wouldn't want to sit with Spain's prime minister, who was elected democratically? And, how could you explain, with such comment said, that he linked Spain's prime minister with Iran's president?
A question to Republicans out there..

Re: A question to Republicans out there..
Irans president is also elected democratically.
Reasons for McCain not to talk to Zapatero are, inter alii:
- He directly insulted Americans worldwide by remaining seated at the Hispanic Day military parade when the American Flag was carried in his vicinity.
- He immediately after his election recalled Spanish troops from the support forces for the US-led Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns.
Reasons why McCain would not want to talk to Ahmadinejad are also plenty.
Who cares about these things?

Iran's president was elected democratically, I know, but his words towards Israel and other positions/comments are the reasons for this stand.
That's why I mentionned Zapatero was elected democratically, because to my knowledge, Zapatero isn't anywhere near Ahmadinejad, or Chavez.
People who care about politics perhaps?
