The magnet's extra weight and attracting powers to anything metal, gives it a higher velocity right before impact.

More uses:
Ground to air weaponry:
When hit against "a flying can?" it sticks, when enough rocks have hit its target, the can falls from the sky due to being overweight.

Ever wondered what exactly those weapons that you're purchasing are? I mean you go "oh yea I've got 1million supers armed with the best weapons" but what exactly are those weapons? Well Tweetygirl and I set out on an expedition to find out. We exchanged hits on each other back and forth, and watched our own soldiers very carefully and figured it out. So here is what those weapons your soldiers are using:

-Hand Weapon one rock to throw at the enemy or use as a blunt weapon to steal people
-Projectile Weapon slingshot for the rock
-Mounted Weapon tree used for the slingshot for the rock
-Energy Weapon throwing energy like a rock
-Channeled Energy Cannon using energy like a rock in our tree slingshot
-Military Contingent we trained someone to throw our rock
-Mobile Assult Planet we replaced the rock with a planet
-Armed Military Division we trained our friend to throw for us so we don’t have to work
-Armed Military Fleet we trained multiple friends to help
-Equipped Military Division we trained our friend to hold two rocks at the same time
-Equipped Military Fleet we trained multiple friends to help and they can throw two rocks at the same time

Defense:
-Handheld Shield Device trash can lid hoping that the rock thrown at you is reflected
-Externally Powered Shield hiding in the trash can then picking up the rock and throwing it back
-Self Deterministic Base three trashcans and their lids that you can inter change to help defense and reflection
-Self Deterministic City an entire city of trashcans placed strategically around a city so you can run and hid easily.
-Time Dilation Mines old WW2 mines sitting on land
-Self Aware Ni-Planets planets that form a wall so that a rock thrown at the planet is stopped by the planet and have been known to utter the word "me" on multiple occasions.
-Guard Division human shields who get hit then you pick up the rock and throw it back
-Domestic Military Fleet wind up cars that can be hit and self destruct against an enemy
-Planetary Defence Grid old WW2 mines sitting on land
-Targeted Black Holes self explanatory
-Self Deterministic Clone Contingent a mirror behind you so that your enemy isn’t sure which one is you. When they throw the rock and miss you can pick it up and throw it back
-Domestic Clone Fleet multiple mirrors behind you to add confusion to your enemy and when they miss with the rock you can throw it back
-Quantum Mine Field old WW2 mines that have sharp edges and are on land
-Targeted Spacial Distortions an entire house of mirrors that are all deformed to confuse your enemy
-Self Deterministic Guard Contingent an extremely determined soldier who comes with a trashcan lid and his own sack of rocks so he does not have to wait for someone to throw a rock at him to return fire
