Non-tech level MS Bug

when i go to refill my stock for volleys, shields, and fleets for my ms, it wont allow me to. i have the required naq on hand, and the spaces available. it wont let me buy even one shield, or volley. just wondering if its my account alone or if its affecting others.

If you've upgraded your MS Tech lvls there seems to be a bug. Try adding 1 less than the amount of space you have.
So i.e. if you have space for 1000 weapons, try buying 999.

like i said, its not tech level related. i have thousands less than the max i can have and i cant even buy one shield or volley or fleet. its like its frozen or something.

ok say i have 55 shield capacity, and i only have 13 shields, with o tech levels, i cant buy one shield to increase my total to 14. i have the required naq on hand and not in the bank, and avalible capacity, but it wont purchase the shield.

i also understand if you guys are confused about this. everyone doesnt understand that the ms tech levels are % increases on your actual amounts so fractions of capacities will be a factor. but my problem doesnt relate to me wanting maximum capacities. i cant buy even one more than i have at the moment and im below half of my capacity even with required naq on hand to buy way more than one. like i said, its not tech level related.

i have had tech levels and i do have tech levels. i can buy fleets, i dont need to buy any more volleys because im at one less than max. my problem is i cant purchase even one shield, and im below half of my max.

well buying the same tech level as my last one didnt work, so i had to buy the next one, and now i can purchase shields.

but my problem was this:
volley capacity: 64,967
volleys: 64,966

shields capacity: 42,996
shields: 13,224 <<======================
(wouldnt let me buy even one shield more)
fleet hangers: 29, 402
fleets: 10

yeah, i appreciate the help too. its not the "bug" people think is a but with max capacity, this is an actual bug. i dont want to be forced to buy an extra tech level everytime my shields wont fill back up. and it sucks even more because im not done ascending either, i still have 2 more to go!

well you dont keep the capacities, you keep your previous amount until you get em knocked away or increase tech lvl

I can confirm this bug. I have the same issue with filling my shield capacity.

I bought the upgrades prior to ascending and when I ascended I did not purchase the upgrades back. I cannot fill my shields back up to my normal capacity.

As you can see I still have more weapons than my capacity because those have not been destroyed at all. My shields have been slowly taking those hits to the point they are at now (25,612 of 29,200)

It will not allow me to purchase any amount of shields to restock. I have tried as few as 1 and as many as the max amount to fill (3,588). After reading this thread I did try to buy 3,587 (amount that would max me minus 1) and still nothing.

Still have not seen or heard anything on this. Posh have you had this resolved on your account? I still cannot purchase shields to fill to my max.

Still no word on this? I don't see it getting added to the known bug list and I would really like to get my MS rebuilt from attacks... at least without waiting til I finish ascending and buy all the MS upgrades.

you need to buy tech lvl higher than your previous lvl in order to correct it. i only had lvl 2 before, but itll get costlier if it persists. sorry for the long wait, thats the only way i found that it would correct it.

I fully understand that, but it is still a bug that should be fixed. I don't want to have to spend 800 bil naq in order to fill my NON-tech improved shields / weapons.

Sorry for any confusion. I am looking for the power that be to acknowledge this as a bug so I know it will be getting fixed. I guess worst case for me would be another 3 weeks without my shields a full strength til I am done ascending. At that point I will have no problem spending the required naq to work around this bug.

I'm also experiencing this bug, I would appreciate it to be sorted because to work around it would require me to buy +12% MS tech again, and that would be a waste of naq as I'm still ascending

Found a way past this bug, farm or raid or get someone to mass your mothership so that you no longer have more shields and volleys than capacity, once all your capacities are not overloaded you can start rebuilding your mothership

My officer Ralex is also having this problem...

I shall tell him about what you said Dmonix, and everyone else on this thread, but if this problem persists, then people will be wasting more and more naq just repairing their mothership or buying tech levels.

I'm going to be ascending soon, so hopefully this doesn't happen to me, but I guess it will be inevitable...

annoying though... wasting naq... especially since most of the people being affected are those who are still ascending...
