Learning the Basics to the Ascended Server

I just ascended and I am trying to get my footing at playing on the new Server.

There is not a Help/Rules section like on the main server.

Is there a Ascended guide on how to play on the server?

My initial questions are on how to increase Dark Matter Units, Cosmic Expansio Rate, etc...

I read in another thread that Training Undeveloped Planets to Labour and also increasing Outward Charisma should be my initial focus.

Ascended is set up with two ways to boost stats. There's the regular methods like in main via spending dark matter units. Then there's your life force which acts as both a second currency and as a tool for combat.

To increase your dark matter unit production per turn, you can either train more of your miner-type units (labor/guided planets or whatever else they are called). You can also boost your production level on the power-up page with your life force.

To increase your cosmic expansion rate (up), you can either buy more cosmic exploration fleets on the cosmic development page (like up on the training page in main) or you can boost your charisma level on the powerups page. Fleets cost dmu to build, charisma costs life force to upgrade.

To sucessfully grow in this server, you will need to work in both of these areas.

Your initial focus should be to get 100k cosmic exploration fleets and charisma and production levels 300.

Your initial ascension power points should let you get pretty close to the last two (once you convert them for life force on your cosmic trade page).

Thanks for the pointers. Today I am starting to realize the simularities between main and ascended.

I kinda get the flow of how this server operates.

I guess I will have to experiment a little to learn more.

Experimentation is good, but you're welcome to ask questions as well. There are quite a few ppl willing to answer questions, though you might sometimes end up with a bit of a debate as to the exact details of the answer.
