One person can be a legend at one point then at another they are not. It's all a matter of current time and placement. I'll just use me as an example, I've done almost nothing recently except take care of a few personal vendetta's which I'm still trying to finish off. However back in the day I was much more involved with everything up until the last big server war when I massed CoTO and declared war.

I'm growing old and fat. The game is not the same, you can't win anything anymore, all you can do is get annoyed and be annoyed. Lame...Why I login everyday I don't know.

This man speaks the truth. If I may toot my own horn here, there was a time when my name was common place speak about, and I like to think I influenced many decisions just by my name. In fact in the awards that were canceled I was in the running for Hall of Fame, Player of the Year, and I think NanoTiMaster of the Year. Yet the year later or whenever it was I was no longer on anyone's nomination for NanoTiMaster or Player of the Year, and barely nominated for Hall of Fame.

Thats the point of SGW legends, and SGW ACTIVE legends. (notice the difference between the two?) So the point is pretty...well...yeah...why say it? I mean...I know people around here are NOT the brightest sparks and all, but there not that void of intelligence.

If you were a legend in the sense of this thread, someone would mention your name. As after all, is that not the point of being a legend? If you have performed an act, it and the person that performed it are remembered?

Does it really matter though? This is just a game, people.

Is being a legend at something where you sit on your ass all day looking at numbers really that important? If this kind of thing really is that important to you, then you should get out more often.

Hmmm - I don't think anyone on my list is inactive - possibly Magni - but then I did state that.

I'm in semi-retirement...waiting for the improvement of the game, in the meantime playing sgwbattlecorps, which is looking like it'll become a really good game - you should take a look BTW: Thanks for the mention

My list would have to be:

Wolf - long serving and long suffering mod, admin, one of the golden oldies whose account may be outstripped by somebody raiding over a weekend, but the person behind the account commands respect in almost all quarters

Mordack - again, more for his forum presence and the person he is than for the stats of his account - although underestimate his account at your peril

Rek - well, the guy is....well, he's Rek.

Noobert - cool guy, always up for a fight and a laugh - appreciates the game for what it is - a game

Deni/Tekki/Borek/Bebita - a few of the people I'd least like to go up against in a war...crazy people who are way, way, way too active

As you can see my list includes people more for who they are than for their account - stats are too easily built or replaced these days, its all about the person behind the account

HMMM,

im gonna say another one thats a legend in my book, would have to be Jeditank. He has provided me with countless hours of insight, and advice for the game, and has helped me dramatically in ascended. he has been a good friend, and an even better teacher.

So hes also a legend in my Book
