But to answer your question, I've encountered a lot of people who genuinely believe that all people like me should be killed and you don't strike me as being one of them, they tend to be violent idiots, which I don't really think you are, or clever speakers who use public concepts like political correctness and use them to try and rubbish the arguments against them. look, since i don't have a magic wand which would rid the world of gays (no i would not wave a magic wand and make you all straight) i have no choice but to accept the fact you lot are here to stay, so, i have nothing against gays being recognized as partners but NOT married and definitely NOT allowed to raise kids...you want kids? get yourself a wife, you don't want a wife? then tough **Filtered**!

gays asking for the right to adopt kids is like me ask asking to win the lottery without buying a ticket.

and for all those that say adoption has nothing to do with this topic...why else does a man a woman get married and make a life with each other if not to raise kids at some point...

now please don't assume that i am saying marriage is all about kids but kids are an important side to marriage for allot of people, and if gays ask to be married they will in the end ask for the right to adopt.

meh, goes without saying that you have options, fostering adopting artificial insemination and so on, i just don't want those options open or even on the table for gays, and allowing them the rights of marriage puts the options of adopting and fostering on the table for them, that's 1 flood gate that should NEVER be opened, no matter how ethical or high their moral standards, they can never be high enough if they are gay...

now, that doesn't mean all straight people make perfect parents, lord knows, as much as i love my kids i am far from perfect, and there are straight people out there who are downright evil towards kids...

but lets not go down that road please.


having kids, giving life is the greatest love a man and woman can ever share, nothing come close to it, and unless your a parent who loves their kids, you cannot imagine the joy and pain they bring you. i wouldn't trade either the joy or the pain...not for all the tea in china!
kids are also the greatest responsibility a couple could ever have, my only regret is that i didn't get to experience the joy of having a baby girl, as a man i REALLY wanted to experience that, alas, it wasn't meant to be, i have 3 sons and in between them we had 2 miscarriages, both girls

but the way i see it and at the time, dealt with both losses is by thinking of the future, my sons will bring me 3 daughters

i once saw a documentary which studied why killers make the choice to kill and how they can carry on like a normal person given some of the crimes/murders they have committed and they found that while showing them pictures of violence and many other types of subjects, the mind of a killer doesn't work the same as a "normal" person, by the same token, i saw another program which shows that gay people are influenced by their genes...

as i've said, i have no doubt that some gay people literately don't have a choice which gender they prefer (just as i don't have a choice to be attracted to women), while other gay people are attracted to the same sex for whatever other reason...

by the way, i'm not as closed minded as people seem to think i am, as i've said, i recognize the fact the person may not have a choice as to which gender they are attracted, BUT, that does NOT mean i suddenly like gay people or will tolerate them and their demands...i WILL NOT!
