History of SGW

In light of the actions I wish to take upon my arrival back in this game I (hopefully with the help of community) shall be writing the history of SGW, so we all can read it when we wish to learn someting about ourselves, others.

Those who shall war someone will have a chance to learn just who exactly they are waring against.
Those who will join an alliance shall learn just exactly who they are joining.
Those who will wish to compare the presence and the past will have a chance
Those who ll wish to learn about technological and economic factor this game has been through shall be educated
Those who will wish to learn about great personas from the past will meet their legends in tales.
Not everything is black or white. I can write better about what I was acquainted with myself but from my own point of view which is subjective. We shall get a history of SGW one way or the other. What kind of history it will be and just what specter it shall cover is up to us the community.

- We ll be taking from the character history on this forum
- We ll be taking from alliance history on this forum
- We ll be taking from Wikipedia on stargatewars
- We ll be taking from old threads we have on this forum
- We ll be taking from old msn logs/convos
- We ll be taking from old files on your computer
- And last but not least we ll be taking from your own minds and memories you posses from your knowledge which I hope is wast.

This is for SGW for the community and when I say for Rome I mean it also. Barbaric tribes or Romans, Asgards or Aztecs, replicators...you name it. The language will not be latin that I assure you It shall be english or (at least english with poor grammar typos but it shall be english in jist)
Its not only about ancient times, its not only about the facts.
We ll be writing about events which took place till this very day and about stories, fairytales and myths which took place in this.

- Each person who ll be mentioned will have an option of reminding us of our wrong without influenting what is written.
- Each alliance will have an option of doing the same

History is written by the winners , so they say. Well I ll make a new quote: History is written by the members present at the time of writting



I ll do it for glory my ass and for Rome and while I would add the SGW community it wouldnt fit the RPG and would already be involved in the part about my ass, cause you see, I can try to create my game as much as I like but it is you ppl of SGW who really form it.


Thanks for anyone interested be it just supporting the idea or actually providing the material, writing, helping to design it. By my idea it should be full of interesting facts , pictures, quotations and will keep updating through time as we go.
The next step we ll do, will be the revivement of something we once had and was at the time crap, but at least had a good intention.
SGW newspaper this time around written by ppl who wont be scared to get massed and will actually know the situation in SGW...but thats to come and will only come if ppl will be interested in it.

Ambitious. Not necessarily doomed to failure, but I will be interested to see how you incorporate some of the divisions in SGW into a coherent narrative.... I can't imagine TJP or FUALL agreeing on anything that happened in the last two years

There are at least two sides of every war, potentially dozens of points of view, nevermind the fact that whoever writes the history is inherently providing his own opinion on the matter (even if just by whose story to include)
