Has the Plague Limit Rate gone down?

I think I've answered my own question with a 'yes' but I'd like some confirmation and any possible reasons for this.

Has the rate at which the cap on army size - the plague limit - gone down?

A while back (WAY back) I noted down the cap limit and it was as follows:

Day 1: 350,684,932 disease
Day 2: 351,232,877 disease

That's a difference of 547,945 UU per day that it went up by.

A little later (but still ages ago) I noted it down again:

Day 1: 357,808,219
Day 2: 358,356,164

Again a difference of 547,945 UU growth.

Now the other day it hit a very nice figure of 410million exactly, yet when it clicked over for the next day it was not 547,945 UU bigger, it was a mere 136,986UU bigger.

(note: if you total population size is greater than 410,136,986 disease will surely strike your lands. Above 307,602,740 and raiding is no longer possible. Above 205,068,493 and trading/buying units no longer possible. Pergatory is not accessible above 41,013,699)

Now, has anyone else noticed this? And if so, does anyone know why it would go down?

Sigh I thought that was only for purgatory not for all of it. Oh well. I've got lots and lots of UU to sell.

What I read was purg would drop its growth to 25% of what it was.

the update will go ahead as stated, with the following additions, based on user feedback:

1) 24hours no attack, no ppt, no vacation before entering pergatory. (just like vacation)
2) the 60 attack turn (or 4 15 turn attack, or any combination) is a past 24 hour count --not reset at midnight.
3) clarification: the 'slowed increase to army size' applies to all army size limits, like plague, raid, etc... the rate increases at 25% of previous increase rate. It is about 25mil per year (opposed to 100mil per year previously).

the rest remains the same.

so a purg update has bled over into the main realm????

Yes Lore, ALL of them have been adjusted down to 25% of what they were previously. At the moment it doesn't affect that many people (comparatively) but it's a pain in the proverbial. The limit raising 547k a day was a challenge - 136k isn't.

Caprila - Lore and I both read that the same way that the purgatory limit would slow down NOT all of them, otherwise you would have heard a lot more screams! I know I would have

No, it's not a mistake. Read page 6 of the proposal to change Purg and Jason says that he will change the limit for all the caps.... then go write more articulately than I have complaining
