I don't really think you can choose who you're attracted to. I've never been able to, at least, and my life would have been significantly easier at various points if I'd been able to do so. I don't think gay people can anymore choose to be attracted to women than the average straight gay could suddenly decide he wanted to try batting for the other team. I don't think I could do it; could any of you?

I tend to go with nature, to be honest. I've know someone from a macho football hooligan environment who turned out to be gay, and someone with lesbian parents who grew into a casanova star athlete. It's not a choice, it's just bad luck.

No, actually you're completely wrong, I was one of the more masculine ones when I was growing up, and probably still am now. I like drinking beer, watching sports etc. For all intensive purposes I'm no different to any other guy out there... And no one ever told me I was gay... maybe once or twice as an insult after losing a fight, or just being generally unpleasant, but never as anything more.

You saying that you would rather choose being straight over being gay is direct conflict with your way of life. If you want to be straight, then there isn't anything you stopping you, apart from yourself, to become straight.

I even had a girlfriend for a while when I was younger, and it was a terrible relationship, I couldn't even kiss her without feeling sick, and emotionally I think I would have round up hating her if I hadn't had the sense to break it off early... I can't change my instincts, and nothing is more instinctive than a relationship, attraction comes automatically, you can't change that.

That is basically saying if a horse who is a mental, emotional and physical match is "acceptable" by your terms.

@fireball...dude, saying women are physically not equal to men is laughable. i've met some women who are total animals in the bed and the very thought of them being treated like flowers is completely off putting for them.
i know your saying thats the impression you get when you see them but let me tell you something...there are women out there who might look petite but are more aggressive and robust in the bed than men!
