foe function, and why it doesnt work on mods

Checked breifly through the section and didnt see any topic about it so i started a new one IF one such exists i apologise and ask you to point me to it or simply move the post to there.

But i realy wanted to know, what is the point of having a foe function if you cant use it. Considering the forum administration team is prone to letting in some of the greatest idiots of this comunity (imo) among them, what exactly is the point of foe function if you cant add ppl on it.
If the reason for not letting add mods as foes is that they cant warn you, could it not have been done that a PM is not a post and there4 isnt ignored under the foe function, and mods send warnings in pms?
If you wanna take the scum to do your work, why not let us ignore them just the same as we did be4?

its not something set up by this team or anything like that... so the best place to ask such a thing, would be on the forums of those that made the phpBB3 forum software...

Mechanics are programmed on the assumption that users should never be able to say they have not read a warning/announcement/etc put forth by a moderator due to that foe function. Of course, there is a hack which allows users to foe mods too.

Well if a Mod posts a warning for everyone in a particular thread, and you have that Mod on your Foe list, therefore not seeing their post warning everyone and you violate that warning and get warned and possibly banned, then you would argue that you saw no warning, but then that arguement would be obsolete.

Makes sense that Staff can't be added to Foe list.

It's QUITE logical it's this way.
It's like some justice act where someone has to leave you alone and not be closer than xx meters from you (in those affairs with foolish parent who stalks his former husband/wife and kids), and then you ask this for having same decision regarding police inspectors (an example of authority) of your city (that they aren't allowed to talk to you/approach you NO MATTER WHAT), if you catch my drift there.
It's totally IMpossible. Same with here.
It's also like saying to the judge on a lawsuit you are into, that he/she isn't allowed to talk to you or ask you questions!
