Peace in Heaven With Hensenshi/Divine Seion

Sorry i tried typing something really nice to say but my brains just cant think straight atm. Matt my friend Rest in peace

It is with great sadness I must inform you that Hensenshi, who was recently going by the name Divine Seion, has passed on from this world.

As a few of you might know, in late September Matt (Hensenshi/Divine Seion’s real name) was diagnosed with a rather rare blood cancer. On November 19th he underwent surgery to have his spleen removed, and the following Sunday he returned to the hospital after having reopened his incision. A subsequent surgery to repair the damage went sour and put him into a coma to which he never recovered. He died on Thanksgiving Day from complications of the latest surgery.

My hope is that you will all remember him for what he loved doing, and that was serving his country.

We used to talk about the military quite often. We hadn't talked in years...I would have visited him.

My condolences, from one marine to a sailor.

He will live on, as long as he is never forgotten. He served his country, his place is assured.

I can't believe nobody told me We used to talk about his experiences and my own often, before he left and I left this game.


He was one of the few players that I forged a personal affection for, and this game was lessened for me by his absence.

From stories of service members going psycho, to his desire to excel. I find myself unable to find the words I want to say.

It's like a deep hole has opened up in the pit of my stomach, and grief has filled it's void. I am truly at a loss.


As I believe he was active duty, his services should be taken care of. But, if there is anything I can do.

I will do my best.

For thoughs who have known Hensenshi i have to say nothing, for thoughs who didnt he was a good man, he had his moments but always fought for what he believed in. He was noble in real life and noble ingame. A service man who defended his country on a daily bases, he will be missed by us all. I have been going over his old posts and that has made me smile.

OK i tried putting it in words

I got to know Hensenshi during his time in the GA and my time in the TA. Many battles we have fought on different sides but the mutual respect for a soldier enabled us to get to know eachother a lot better on msn. Then i got introduced to Teamspeak and we had so many fun, serious, conversations. When i try to put all my thoughts about Hen into words i cant for words can't describe Hen as i know him. With tears in my eyes i try to typ this last word to a soldier with the heart in the right place. A friend or a enemy but in the end a Brother. May Hen for whatever reasson u liked or disliked him be in our hearts as his SGW friends were in his.

Words can not reflect the feelings I and many with me have at this point and my thoughts are with Matt's family and friends. Even though i never got the chance to meet Matt or his family in real life I will seek comfort with those in SGW we were close to.

As words still dont reflect my feelings as i want em to be I will find my way to reflect them in a song.

I just heard about this and had to see a thread to make sure..Damn i can't express how sad I am because of this It feels like yesterday when about 3 years ago I started making graphics and there he was, to help me when I was a complete noob at it I added him on msn and chatted loads with him..During the CIA vs CoP war we both were on diffrent sides and fought each other in game while having a laugh at it over msn I applied during the CIA vs CoP war on Q to DD..He clicked me on msn and less than 5 minutes later he accepted me, even tho he knew my playing style was very diffrent than most of playing styles and it could yepardise DD's spot in alliance rankings and that some might not like it that we're allies on Q but enemies on main..But he stuck with me because we were friends..

Thank you Matt for all the funny talks that got me in a good mood while I was angry, thank you for everything. I'll never forget you and I'm proud to be able to say that we were friends.

You were real champ and a real strange soldier for you put your friends above orders and I thank you for that.

Rest in peace my friend, you will never be forgotten.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!! It was only last week we were trying to catch up.. I'm confused, you say he died on Thanksgiving so who spoke to me on the 30th? 29th if you are on the west coast.

That was probably his brother. We (meaning myself, Gav, Squishie, and Tweety) spoke to him last night over vent.

Its still pretty hard for me to type this, but I woke up this morning and I was still in a state of shock. I've known Matt off and on for a little over four years now. We met, of all places, on a Star Wars forum. He posted a link to this game, and wanted people to try it out. A bunch of us signed up, and formed an alliance called the SDN Systemlords. (named after the forum we frequented) You can read the sequel to the thread that got me playing the game here. (Note for the youngsters: There is no restriction on language on that forum so click at your own risk.) It was from that point on where I got sucked into this game. He was constantly giving me advice on how to play the game properly. There's a bit more history, which includes some time in Dirty Dozen, which I don't really have time to get into right now. However, I'm proud to say that I participated in one of the last massing sprees he ever went on. That night was truely a blast, and one I will remember for a long time.
