An officer of mine is trying to purchase ss with the G & R that he has accrued, but he doesn't know where to find it. I purchased my ss with cold, hard cash, and so I am of no help. Can some one please tell me where he should look? Is it under "market", or another arcane location?

of course there is a point of having an accended account - it effects the strength of your main account and also it is also another server completly with alliances and wars so its fun as well

Currently, who or which Mods would be best to contact about granting access to the Ascended Forums?

I know what is required and such after ascending....just need to know whom specificly would be the most likely to handle those kind of requests these days? Thanks!


EDIT: Oops, never mind. I had once read that certain Mods needed to be contacted and sent info, before someone was granted access. After a lot of combing, and several different search variations, I see this is no longer necessary....

Hey I was getting ready to Ascend, got my G&R points, etcs. I thought I met all the requirements. However, I was stunned to see that I still needed a TON of UU to ascend.

So I rolled up my sleaves, started devoting everything to UP, and low-and-behold, my requirements for the minimum # of UU in my realm went up 30k! So basically, after spending several billion Naq to get closer to Ascension, I am further away than ever before!

Could someone tell me what the UU Requirements are based off of, so I am not shooting myself in the foot? Thx.

The amount of UU you need is directly proportional to your UP. Don't quote me on this, but I think it's 20x UP in UU for the first ascension.

You're probably better off raiding for the UU.

You don't lose your ascension level.

If you were a prior and you were descended you'd simply have 'Prior of a DESCENDED [race]' on your main account for 2 weeks, won't be able to play ascended and will temporarily lose your ascension bonuses, then you'd be back to normal.

I'm glad to know that. I don't want to ascend, only to have my sorry weak-a** butt kicked and end up descending into an Asgard again.

And, I'm glad it's temporary; just two weeks. Anyone who whines and says that they should be able to permanently descend someone is just a cry-baby bully. It's no fun for the person who worked so hard to ascend. The weak ascended need a chance to find their feet.

Good Job on the FAQ it could of help me when I was a newbie. Can I post this on my blog? I could post the link on it so players could go directly to this thread if you dont mind, if I can copy the whole FAQ to my blog, I'll say that you've done the work not me, My blog is there to explain what I've learned, as well as helping newbie/intermediate players understand some of the stuff that the Help&Rules page doesn't cover.

There is no longer any special ascended user group afaik. Your CER will continue to decrease the further over the cap you go. It never stops
