No one seems to get the idea that the alliance vault is not there to give members naq. Its there as a "cost". Later alliances will be able to be upgraded using theses funds, atleast that is what Jason has said so far. Thats been some time ago tho.

The naq should never be removed, if it can, it should be for something that cannot add to any stats, or alliance power etc.

A new alliance starting today with small players would never catch up, it would be unfair, and totally unbalanced.

Naq should go in but not out, it should be the tax for being protected by your alliance.

that was the basic Idea from what i understood. The upgrades were more "trinkets" per say. But nothing was ever set in stone and he's now said much else about it.

ok i just have a small point to make, all of you are assuming when you add the function for The 1ic to take the naq out, he will respect the members, but what happens if you get a player with a 300million army size that decides he wants free naq, so he bullys people into joining the alliances and agreeing to the transaction or the big player well mass..

Hence the reason as to the idea of having the leader and 2IC have full control over the alliance bank being shot down every time it is ever brought up.

And again you seem to not understand that the Naq can not be taken out the bank and given to anyone.

Its there to purchase "Alliance" upgrades. Atleast as last stated.

ha thats just grade my alliance well take forever to be abel to buy one as the ones we have problems with would have massed us all if that isthe cast those alliance upgrades will piss off the small people and make it harder for them to wont to come back its bad ass it is that the game is in darger of being shut down for that suacide some kid have becouse off this game and poeple like the high ups would use the upgrades to totally rule the game and it well turn out to be one quick fast war with the ones that can get them and use them fast to keep up and fihgt then they'll get massed and real fast everyone well be at the feet of the 5 or whatever # most powerful allinaces that well farm anyone that don't join them we'll have the alliances fightin ghten over who gets the ones laft over that are stell on and have high in come to support faster upgrades i think that some thing like this well be the turning point for every one of the 100,000 people that paly the game every day week or mouth but this well make people but ppt more that well be the only thing able to save us or for the people that can then it well start the WAR OF WORDS to get the ones that can't be thuched by the alliances and that well or might start allinaces of ppt members who wait long times to build up and take down the big guys that well be about 30 more or less alliances who do this they well get the most members to join its well be the war of attack and diffence with the all powerful shiald pptnow the little guys of they want to stay in the game well need to make shadow alliances not in the system but alliys commaders and officers maybe who attack and run slowly building up and then forming shadow alliances and thiss all leades me to balive that the upgrades well make many people quit the game or just lave alliances and try going onthere own

now keep in mind that this well happen over the three or fuor mouths after the upgrades are sent out it'll be both long and short term affects

I think alliance upgrades are a very good idea, mmorpg's have them in a similar fashion where an alliance builds up points that can be used for alliance upgrades, for the most part they are cosmetic and provide no benefit but its another way that alliances can invest in the game and try to prove that they are the best.

The problem is that in SGW there is no real room for cosmetic upgrades.

Few cosmetic ideas :-

What you need is for an alliance to spend x amount and they they are able to change there theme, this theme would affect what their members user stats page looks like.

Other more usefull upgrades could be the information in the alliance attack log could be more detailed.

They could also purchase themes and additional content for the Alliance Members page, certain alliances could add additional information with certain upgrades, links to the alliances web page, information about the alliance, history etc.

An alliance could purchase a color to use so that when you look at the battlefield and it says

One of the things sgw lacks is a way to make each alliance more distinctive. Even if there is no advantage to the upgrade, if it can be seen, its prestigious enough and expensive enough then people will work to get it.

now i really like the idea but i'am saying it can be worse then we hoped for i'ed love my allinace to buy upgrades and use them in the middle of a war or what ever i just want to beable for my alliance to be able to buy them at a real resonable price not some thing that takes a week or mouth or YEAR to build up the nuh to buy and like we all have stated in our post that you keep over looking if the price is to high the big aliances well get the upper hand and kill us all
