Can't change commanders

I joined a commander (ID=24685) about 72 hours ago and now I want to switch to a differnt person in my alliance but it always says:
NOTICE: You can only change commanders once per day. After all, you do not want to gain a reputation as a officer with no allegiance!
My ID is 23809

Ok... It got fixed I think cause I just switched commanders...

I noticed this early in the wave, several team mates came under me at first as officers, then we flopped when Ximenes decided to play this wave and it took almost two days for the officers under me to be able to switch to him. It appeared (to me) from the timeline progression it was at minimum, 48 hours before they could make the commander swap (not 24 hrs per usual). It wasn't until the third day after we decided to make the moves that we were all under Ximenes, if this info helps.

i'm having the same problem, i've been stuck with this commander for over 48 hours now and i still cant change him... and it really sucks cuz this guy isnt even active

Ok! Is anyone one else stuck with thier commander in ERA 16? It's been over 48 hrs and I still can not change commanders.

Yer. That is what this whole thread is about. You should eventually be able to leave. Or you can have them dismiss you.

I'm stuck with an inactive commander. I can't even change to make myself my own commander. HELP I want out
