To be honest it really depends what you are lookin for in a console.

The argument that PSN is better than XBL is a bit lame PSN even with its new features is still crappy compared to XBL. Having owned both consoles after a year with them both I decided to sell the PS3 and by an xbox 360 elite. Now I have 2 xbox 360's and I don't regret the decision at all.

The Crackdown graphics were intended to be stylized and cartoony not really show of the power of the consoles graphics.

You've also got to take into account that the Xbox 360 is just over a year older than the ps3. Technologically the PS3 should be better and yet it has no where near the unit sales of xbox 360 and Wii and its for many reasons not just the lack of decent games, the controller is a clumsy re-design of the ps2 controller, the bluetooth headset barely works, the PSN in its original incarnation barely worked.

You do all seem to forget that even when the Wii and 360 were out that PS2 was outselling both 360 and Wii together

And I have used my 360 online and found it to be a very forgettable experience.

If that was the case I would have bought a PS3 instead of my 360 Elite.

Neither am I but you can't forgive new release games for looking like 3rd generation games. If I was a "graphics **Filtered**" then why am I going to buy a gamecube in a few weeks? And why do I hold onto my PS2's? Why do me and my friends often battle it out on old gen consoles?

Though I'm not going to take your word for it, seeing how you're a Sony fanboy and you're praising R2 which took a step back in the graphics department from it's PS3 launch predecessor.

As for this trying to pay devs off business. Even IF that was true, why would I care? The 360 is still cheaper then the PS3, has more games and a bigger community which for me as a gamer(NOT a fanboy) is all that really matters. So again, why should I care how they do it? You see, I'm not a fanboy and I'm not getting burned by it, I did the smart thing and bought a 360. If I were a fanboy, I would constantly be throwing it in your face that Microsoft goes the extra mile to get games on their console, whereas Sony has the most expensive console and has nothing to show for it.

Sony doesn't go the extra mile and MS does? That's **Filtered**. MS are more willing to throw money out at things to get the "edge" in the market but as far as I can see Sony lets their console do the talking, not their money.

Sony isn't "wasting every $ they make on crap TV ads" because isn't Sony isn't making any money. If you talking about the 360's library versus the PS2's library, well yeah the 360 has a pretty shoddy library. I don't think that anything will ever beat the PS2's library. If you're talking about the PS3, well if that's how you really feel about it's vaporware and three games, well you're entitled to your opinion.

You keep mentioning vaporware? You're still buying into the idea that PS3 has no games? Are you really that blind?
I have 20+ PS3 games sitting on my desk. And I have traded in over 10 games. So don't talk such **Filtered** about "vaporware". 360 may have more games but seriously.. it has no more "must play" games than PS3 at this point. I would go as far as saying PS3 has more "must play" games than the 360 ever had

XBL > PSN because it's only crashed like 4 times in the 6 years it's been online, whereas PSN crashes everytime a new demo is released. Because when I download a gig file it doesn't take forever and a day, because I can now browse the market from my computer.

Then you should know they lie like there's no tomorrow.

PSN has never crashed for me. I only lose connection due to the fact that there are usually 2 laptops, my comp and 2 PS3's connected to a 3MB connection. When it's just my PS3 and my comp connected I never get any problems. Internet in Ireland is terrible

Is that why the PS3 is failing miserably and the 360 is doing good? Is that why Sony is refusing to lower their prices in a recession? Is that why Nintendo, for 2(TWO) generations, were on the cusp of extinction, because they're a "Japanese company with over a decade of experience in the market".

I don't trust Microsoft, I don't trust any company, whether American, Japanese or Martian. That's the markings of a fanboy. I trust myself, and what I know about the market as a consumer, and apply that to my decision of which console to buy.

The reason Nintendo has been on the cusp is because they don't make good consoles.
You're just like everyone else - cries about the price of the PS3 eventhough it's still a bargain and the 360 is only cheap because it was released before PS3 with now cheaper hardware.
I guess you gotta pay to have a console that doesn't break every year and needs to be replaced

I've never played a PS3, what makes the 360 better is merely the fact it has more "Triple A" exclusives, and better multiplat titles.

You can't blame the PS3 because dev's are too lazy to properly code a PS3 game.

Well my definition of a "Triple A" title would be games such as COD4, MGS4, HL etc.. Not a star wars games and a flying game -_-

Unit sales? You're basing unit sales on hardware? If that was the case then the Wii would already be dead
Clumsy redesign of the Dualshock 2? So was the Dualshock 2 a clumsy redesign of the Dualshock?
If Sonys controller was so bad then why does nearly every pc controller look like one? Why has Sony used the same controller design (basically) for over a decade?
Blue tooth headset barely works? It works perfectly - If not better than the 360's standard "headgear".

Yeah - PSN was bad when it started but at least Sony update everything and improve on everything as much as possible. Even things that aren't broken get updated on PS3

And your point is what? Size matters?
360 controller is comfortable. But the uneven analogue sticks, the clear rip off of the DS design and the tiny, tiny shoulder buttons make it really annoying to use.
DS > 360 controller and over a decade of DS proves it
