Re: Military Experience
I don't. I like the records, but not the stuff that comes with it. Random massings for people to gain ME, all that jazz is what I dislike.
As I said above, I like the records of knowing what I killed and such so I can look back and say "Wow, I killed all that? Damn."
Besides, if you people can't be civil..why bother posting?

No its good for
turn lag
random massings
random pointless massings
people who carry no stats boast because they sit and snip people with stats
And with losses not counting against you, losing 5 mill men to kill 3 mill makes you out a winner
pfft
Worthless information
Not to mention, if its not archived and reset annually, it will soon be worthless and meaningless to even those who hunt it now. Soon the top 10 to 25 ME's will never change, and the stat will be there soley for them alone. No new account will ever be able to compete.

Re: Military Experience
I think its interesting to look back after a war and see how much you've destroyed - also as a way of improving (ie: improving loss/kill ratios in future)
But the raw stats themselves don't mean much. For example, 20mil def supers killed when someone isn't expecting a massing is easy......when they have nox/crit on its slightly harder....when they're online its much harder and way more fun.....but the logs don't reflect this at all.
5mil def supers killed when someone is online is more impressive than destroying 20mil of someone offline. Online still requires an element of skill, speed, teamwork. Offline, its button bashing at its worst.

(i watched 300 lastnight, again)
It doesnt need to update every turn and cause the turn lag, once every 12 or 24 hrs is sufficent.
the personal logs are fine, war logs as well, but ranking it is pointless at best. The way accounts are bought and sold, Look at Blahh, Rank 1 and for sale.
