I played first time beta, it was bit annoying when closed, but since I play(ed) it for fun, it was only a loss for the fun I could still have if it was still there, no cash or anything to miss however!

My honest opinion is..why the HELL do these threads keep popping up? It is the most annoying thing on earth to hear about a beta server that will be shut down at any time.
