Makes no difference if it's a known bug or not, the rules are most specific, you must report any bugs to the admins and not exploit them.

True, but what I think Skunky may be getting at (correct me if i'm wrong) is what if he didn't know it was a bug.

That's possible... Though it's interesting to note that 2-3 of TAF people did this all on the one day. And declared multiple wars of attrition on multiple alliances.

And there is definitely a bug in the fact that Delta still has two war of attrition open to be accepted but if we look at the logs we see that one of the alliances that declared it is already destroyed~! How can we accept a war (which was from a one man alliance) when they have already disbanded themselves.

I guess the test of if it's a bug or not, is to do it back.

And with this bug being used and reported AGAIN yesterday it would be hard to prove either way. Timing is suspicous tho.


Maybe now Admin will fix the bug reported over a month ago.

Think about it for a few mins clarkey, how can he NOT have known it was a bug? None of the alliances he declared war on accepted it, then he disbanded his alliance and still kept the key points of the system.

Where is his post in the bugs forum detailing what he did and asking for it to be fixed?

No, people who legitimately find a bug do not act like this, they would apologise to the people who got affected and work with admin ASAP to get it fixed.

in all due respect clarckey, PoD is @ war with FUALL. and such massive bugs are obviously bugs. you'd have to be blind not to notice that. look é the discrition of war of atrition:

War Of Attrition - 1 day war. Your alliance cannot take more than one of these wars per week, one at a time. No other wars may be fought alongside this deathmatch...Both your and their alliance will phase to the realm of blood, where only your two alliances will reside for the duration of the war

1: he's not in an alliance and is still in the war --> obvious bug nr 1
2: he declared it on 2 alliances (possibly 3) whilst it is state that only 1 can be issued a week --> obvious bug nr 2
3: he can kill atack supers even before the war is accepted and bloodrealm takes affect --> obvious bug nr 3

if that happens you definatly know that it's a bug, and if h's realy of good will he would hav reported every single bug (wich he did not). instead he took advantage of it.

yes, his war declaration is still in my alliance status and i can still accept it even tough there is no alliance anymore

You've all got me wrong, I'm not suggesting that PoD and KSM and whoever else has exploited the bug may not be aware of the fact that it is a bug. I'm pretty sure they are aware of it. I was just saying that is what it looked like Skunky was trying to get at.

very simply, if it was an full alliance who declared this war, you could argue that it was simple a oversight on the bug. But since 4 different individuals lefted their alliances and formed new alliances under the size and number of days created limit in a very short period, this is a clear case where the individuals intend to exploit a known bug. Also an indication of this is that they disbanded alliances knowing that the effect would stay in place.

Now i hope the admin does something on this as whatever about a new player who doesn't frequent this forum unknowing using the bug, the players involved here are old hands and should be setting better examples for the community as a whole. Also admin i know this is the wrong section but these bugs do need some attention so people can not exploit them as these individuals have.

Wrong. He knew it was a bug, his TAF buddies were using it as well.
