Well to be honest I'm not entirely convinced that murder charges is the correct course of action, as I'm not entirely convinced that he is guilty of murder.

maybe not i'm no lawyer but i'd say at the least he would be charged with use of excessive force or unlawfull killing or causing death through neglegince something anyway it would be a sad state of affairs if he walks away scot free

Well you can't see everything, he may have had reason to fire or it may just be the way you see it. But just to point out, before he draws his gun the other cop jumped back as if he had something to fear. Another thing is as I pointed out, he was not shot in the head, and did not die right away, he was still fighting the cops after he had been shot.

maybe but i can think of no defendable reason to shoot a guy that is on the floor already handcuffed i'd say at the very very least it was an extreme over reaction

Again, videos can be vastly misleading as I had shown with the cop vs bike video. It looked like the cop jump out to push the kid off his bike out of pure malice, but the fact is the kid did turn towards the cop at the last second.

People who need to disappear from planet firstly are all those nazis, anarchists, islamists, fundamentalists and any other extremist. Always causing troubles to overtake governements and ruin it all. And deserving no respect at all from any decent minded person.

And I'm sure some sort of apartheid driven by a totalitarian fascist state is the accomplishement of above map. Patriot Act being just a base for many "enhancements" to delete all freedom a person can have, aside of denounceing/snitching about your neighboor, if that person didn't follow one of nonsense new laws being installed. Cult of the leader required, like Kim Il Sung, Mao, Hussein, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, the good guys in other words... And I might have missed some points, and I'm sorry about it. Now that we depicted ideal sate for few people, let's get back to police mistakes.

You know you have to wonder how far people are willing to things get out of hand before they will admit they have lide to themselves and are now living in police like states.

For example I shall now point out two new statutes that are on the books, the first comes into effect this monday i think (16th feb) the other i'm not sure when it will actually be in effect if it isnt already.

The first is that it is now an arrestable offence to take a picture of a police officer/court offical/Government empowered agent/Inteeligence spook if that picture can be used in the aid of terrorist offences. Now lets face it any picture COULD be used in the aid of a terrorist offence, but i'm willing to bet that less than 1% of pictures taken of those people are used by terrorists, however as the decision is in the hands of the officer on the scene you can bet lots of people will be falsely arrested and charged under this new law. It should be pointed out that it carries a custodial sentence if your convicted which could be upto 10 years, all for just taking a picture. Strange isnt it that those who are in PUBLIC office an d take numberous pictures & videos of us are somewhat camera shy themselves so much so they make a law about it. Try getting evidence the police were abusing their powers now eh.

The second is a little harder to explain so read carefully & if you think i've missed something or something doesnt fit, then just ask and i'll do my best to answer. Now in the UK our Customs Officers have traditionally been under the control of HMRC office (Her Majesty's Revenues & Customs) which answers to the Home Office. All of which is above board and correct. Recently Customs Officers were granted the same powers of arrest as Police Officers, as well as the power to force compliance with a DNA sample if arrested. All still relatively normal, or at least not that suprising. The suprising bit is that a new Customs/Borders force is to be created, this new force will have all the powers of the old Officers as well as expanded rights to search you/belongings/property without warrants. These new Officers will not be under the HMRC Office nor will the report to the Home Office (and by extension of that the Government{including oppositions} and the public at large becuase of the requirement of public records) these new officers will instead report directly to the Home Secretary, they will be exempt from public records due to terror laws recently passed & they will be allowed to be posted anywhere within the UK the home secretary likes (much like the police force, but even they report in public still at the moment). It should be pointed out that HMRC Customs officers have no power outside of a Customs control point unless accompanied by a Police officer (its the cop who exercises their power of arrest etc outside the customs zone)

Put together thses two measures can concievabley be taken to show that the UK is very highly police state like already.

well while i know nothing of said youth forces but i do know that in Australia currently in my home state the government has made associating with anyone they deem to be part of any organisation they deem illegal a crime

now it gets worse the state parliment can with a single vote deem any organisation illegal no need for evidence a trail hell even a bad story nope the organisation is named and then voted on just like that

and simalrly the police need no evidence linking you to said organisation before legally following you, monitering your calls, internet whatever

there is also a move to make it national now when the government can tell me who i can and can't talk to it's bad

Any officer who policed the G20 incidents without their collar numbers visible should be thrown off the force & lose thier pension.

The police went looking for trouble, they went out with masks over their faces (ok not all but the majority) , roit gear & they took their collar identificaiton numbers off. If that isnt premeditated then I dont know what is?

The officer in question over the death of the newpaper seller should be tried for murder not manslaughter.

blatant police brutality killed an innocent man and here we all are talking about it society as it is now disgusts me! we have turned into a spineless, apathetic, cowardly people who prefer to moan at the injustice of it all and then forget the whole thing, and go on to the next tragedy and moan about that instead of demanding (by whatever means are necessary) the change we ALL know is needed.

i agree with kit-fox 100%, that policy enforcer should be up on murder charges.
