I did my best to talk the admin into getting a english option, but he would not have it. Told him it would be the death of the game...and when I went to promote it for him on some other sites, it did not work because the only thing most people needed to say no was the fact it was in German.

I could understand Chinese, Mandarin, English or French...but german.. no offence any germans out there...its pretty useless..

There are a lot of forms of Chinese; Mandarin and Cantonese being the two that I can think of off the top of my head. Some are more like dialects, and others are almost separate languages. Most people just dump them all under Chinese.

Yeah, we like our American language. Although, I speak Russian, Spanish and English. Well not entirely fluently, my grammar leaves a lot to be desired in any language.



Anyway, I tried to play sgw.de once and got through most of the language barrier by being creative, and I do agree it sucks. We definitely need a lot of refinements to the system to ensure balance most of all.

A game in english, french or spanish is fine for me...though I need some work on my spanish, I while I didn't use it ...as for latin...I learnt it 6 years ago so I totally forgot almost all

I think that sgw.de works now for german people, international people who have notions of german...and rest who doesnt speak german mostly just uses the game and nothing else.


btw, I used to be one of those snipers you talk about. I had 250mil strike which was something like rank 9 strike back in time...and one of biggest coverts of the game. Being level 18.

the bank upgrade is bearable, but anti-covert troops are just stupid

i mean, if one person has a repli/tauri account with huge covert or strike
then either do the same
or
build a def, if it gets massed then so what? they won't have unlimited turns (or will they )

I think there does need to be something to keep peoples coverts in check. I remember when the average "high" covert extended into the trillions when other average stats only made it to about 100-200bil or so.

It allowed for some account to be near untouchable...
