Main SGW and Ascended SGW

I've been searching for hours and can't find the information. How does the ascended game affect the main SGW game? Can you use the ascended account to help your main SGW account?

Basics:
As you ascend on main, you gather Ascention Power Points (APP). Then you can convert these APPs into Life Force on ascended, in the market.

Also, if you get descended, you will lose the stat-bonus you recieve for being an ascended (that bonus increases as you ascend further). In case you are vacating on ascended, the bonuses given above will be half-effecrive only.

OK, so I don't have to do anything on the ascension game besides getting descended. I automatically get bonus every time I ascend. No avatar if the ascended being coming down to the main server or anything like that.
