To sum it up...

Massing should be harder and harsher on the attacker (1 AT crap etc.)

Reduce AT generation

Remove ME rankings I am unsure about, as so I am about the MS techs.

Attack Turns:
Keep attack turn generation and availability how it is. Reducing the amount of AT available makes it impossible for the new players who join to catch up to the Veterans ever. The older players are leaving the game, the focus should be on new players.

Military Experience:
I would like to see it unranked, it should just be there as a log of seeing what you have killed and to brag about it to your friends, etc. Although I think this will do nothing to stop the ME freaks who do random massings.

Mothership:
Get rid of the MS techs, it just strengthens the people with huge Motherships and leaves the poor, new players, back in the dust even more so.

Raid Cap:
I think the Raid Cap is fine being dynamic, as well as the Disease Cap. I think someone might be able to convince me otherwise if they tried though...

Defending:
Instead of reducing the amount of AT available, make it harder to mass so people with think twice before taking down an entire alliance by themselves. The defender should have a major advantage over the attacker, right now the only reason people in wars build a defense is on sheer principle, so the enemies actually have something to do, and maybe so they won't resort to sabbing their precious strike or something... Make it so building a defense actually means something. Possibly make it more expensive too, although probably not.

Oh true...if MS techs are taken out, people should be repaid cost of level they are at...well as I said, discussion needed for some points, as I precised in poll! :)

Yea I was thinking that too (about ME). Even if ME is still counted in ANY WAY at all, people are still gonna compare with their friends, or start a Thread of the Forums or something and make their own rankings... whatever...

Problem is that it helps for war calculations, and avoid lies about excessive kills/false losses...that's why I didn't suggest to get rid of it.

Well...more attractive game= more players= probably more cash spent (my suggestion takes into account the duals selling by bringing back former fleets power: planets harder to steal: more buying duals: more money=extra income for admin.

well every one wants something to change for some reason but actually the game is a lot funner when there is a ton of turns and a ton of naq along with the ability to raid like crazy...... this actually keeps the game moving, players can quickly grow, mass be massed back quickly regrow and build to whatever works for you

I would like more naq and more turns and ability to raid more . period...

I think that the best thing to change is how alliance wars are done ... alliance wars are still not able to confirm a win or a loss ( if both sides are unwilling to concede to the other alliance ) and now they just go on forever

I know the game has come up with there idea of alliance wars but who uses that besides the ones befitting from a bug.

we need to actually come up with a better alliance war structure instead of trying to rehash all the other stuff

the thing that comes to mind for alliance wars is to sit down with the alliance we are going to war with and set ground rules and a time limit and some kind of win or loss goal.

another way would be to have the game on a time scale of some sort and each alliance has a schedule like sports team so alliance 1 plays alliance 2 on jan 26 09 at 12:00 game time war last 1 week war over and so on then as each team either wins or loses then you go in those brackets and so on till at a certain date there is the play offs and then the stargatewars pro play offs
I am sure there is many flaws in this but just a idea and I am sure there is many other ideas that could and would benefit the game.

well what people are talking about here is to update and remove some things so it whouldnt be a lot of work for him

Make massing more profitable, and war less profitable. I also think that admin should create a server war where 10 alliances or more have to declare server war, they all get moved to another area until war is over. Declared and agreed to by all leaders when it is over.

Also while in server war mode you can't leave it, you can't leave the alliance and you can't go on vac, ppt, it would run forever until all the leaders declare it's over.... Everybody is happy then.. :)

This would help or it should be reset each year with an ongoing record like Quantum kept of it.

Do this. 'cos it doesn't at the moment. At the moment the game grows 25million men a year (used to grow 100million) put it back to 100million men a year to allow real growth and losses.

The claim that it makes it harder for the little guys is a fallacy. We have had how many people join and in one year are able to take on the top guys - if they work at it? This indicates to me that things are okay so more growth is also okay. As it is, the top accounts are becoming static at the plague limit as the plague kills approximately 1million men a day. Now if we watn something like ascension where we have multiple accounts at plague all with the same covert, etc etc, then leave it and eventually everything and every account looks the same.

MS Techs can be taken or left as they boost everyone equally. Sure they make the bigger ones bigger but they make the same percentage difference to everyone.

Kill ratio

Yeah this should be altered a bit. We already had it 1 AT kills more men, then we added planets. That made the 1 AT kill ratio a lot 'sillier' than what it was. So an adjustment back would be good. This would make losses when massing more of a thought for peoples. Planets and MS should given an advantage - yes but atm they are imbalanced.

Attack turns - take it or leave it. We all generate the same number so no biggie there.

The other thing perhaps is for more than 4 hits on a person in a turn, you must set war. Thsi removes the effects of the Nox and lets us have real wars.
