stupid inactive officers

hey forum, i just dismissed over 30+ officers and 1 day later 40+ came under my commander and they are different players and its kinda lame, they are cutting off the income to my other officers. if i dismiss them i know they will join me again, cant u make a confirm button orsomthing to accept or deny officers.
thanks for your time.

Excellent suggestion mate! What I find hilarious is being attacked and the very next minute the guys made himself my officer. I've had to dismiss a few of those and send a few sabs over to get the message across that they are not wanted.

Haha, the bonus' of being top eh  ?

But yeah, it's a good idea.
However, given your 'stance' on SGW, you would probably spend a lot of time rejecting officers.

I think a good idea (although may be hard to impliment) is if you ccould set specifications that officers would have to meet in order to join.
Like, high activity, certain unit production, certain rank.
People who attempt to join, but don;'t meet the specifications could be given a message telling them how far they have to go until they can become accpeted as an officer.

Last login information even just a date would be helpful in getting rid of inactives. Most games seem to autodelete inactive accounts after a given period of time (a month would seem reasonable even if a person was on vacation).

Also like the idea of commanders having to accept officers.

//Offtopic// then stop spamming everyone to join you...

_Apophis__ as a good point. A confirm button for the Commander to accept or deny officers. As some of them might simply become your officer not to get attack from you.

But...inactive players are inactive...so dismiss them ONE TIME and they'll not be back...If they are inactive...

It probably has, but I'm just picking the first thread on the subject I can find.

Now that we can make someone an enemy, implementing this should be easy. Just prevent enemies from becoming officers, and we have another problem solved.

As soon as you build an idiot proof system, somebody else builds a better idiot.

If it moves, kill it. If it doesn't move, kick it until it does move, and then kill it.
