Bottomline- I'm looking forward to SuperBowl 43 and the SB commercials.
Traitorous dog! the steelers defeated us in the championship game in 06, leading to the most boring, ridiculous superbowl to ever grace the earth to date.
that said....good game, Warners hand was going forward, Harrison should have been expelled from the game.

Not traitorous, I was just picking a team that made it and went for them. I actually wore my broncos clothing to a Chargers infested high school after that defeat in Denver where we got our mules kicked. No one can put me down cuz i'm a realistic person. In the four weeks before the last game, I knew that the Chargers were going to come back and beat us.
According to my mom, she thinks I'm psychic. I would have made a tons load of money. But I don't gamble so it's a moot point.

It was reviewed in the booth. It was clear enough to them that it didnt need the full field review. I was surprised it wasnt reviewed on the field given the number of other reviews they did but apparently it was clear enough upstairs that it wasnt needed.
I wonder if AZ will be able to keep Boldin and Warner for next year.
So you have to control of the ball as it goes forward? Well, I guess the call was made right but it will still be a controversy still. Moot point.
To me, it seemed that this season was the season for bad calls. Going from the Chargers-Broncos game to the Superbowl. I guess all the referees were slightly unaware in some capacity.

lol bad calls. I love how chargers fans complain about the Ed Hochili call. Nothing better for me, a Raiders fan. Tuck rule anyone? How knocking the ball out of your hands isn't a fumble I will never know. The Patriots owe their entire dynasty to the Raiders. If they are playing any other team that's a fumble. That's neither here nor there. Congrats Steelers on surviving the toughest regular season schedule and winning it all.

Course the chargers were gonna beat us, they have as good an offense as us with a half decent defense, not just one half decent CB and a rookie Ryan Clady. It's our fault, we shoulda called a different play in the Buffalo game...

1) not a fumble. watch the laces on the ball...you can see... 2) harrison SHOULD have been ejected from the game, and i agree that he usually isnt that kind of a person...very honorable player, and good 1... 3) i understand that the cards are a passing team, and have 2 of the greatest recievers in the NFL at their disposal, but on 1st and goal 2 yards out, run the ball...if you watch the play, steelers had 4 in the box...beautiful opportunity to pull an off-tackle with james (who had a good average so far...). also, all the linebackers were dropped to play zone, what looked like a form of cover 2. and, although it was a nice pick and BEAUTIFUL return, if you watch it closely, Harrison was SUPPOSED to be rushing, the drop by him was just an AMAZING read that ended well...either way, wisenhunt, although he did a good job of tapping into the cards' potential as an offensive behemoth, needs to know when to put the ball on the ground... 4) im from iowa, so i support warner 100% (unless they play the broncos!!! lol...), but the entire franchise owes boldin and james for keeping them in the game. fitzerald, although it was not his fault (props to steelers D coordinator...) was unable to do much of anything, and warner checked down to james for a lot, if not nearly all, of their first downs. boldin, who i've said was the best reciever drafted in the last 5 years aside from fitzgerald and marshall, earned his paycheck and then some. watching the game, it's obvious they planned to go to breaston/boldin most of the time, but breaston worked the outside of the field, whereas boldin got to hold the middle with all 4 DBs behind him and all 3-4 linebackers in front of him...he took some nasty shots becuz of balls warner SHOULDNT have thrown...major props to boldin, major props... 5) lastly, although im not a fan of either team and i was cheering for cards, it's nice to see a team make history...i would have NOTHING against the steelers if their fans weren't so cocky/such **Filtered**...lol
nd denver firing shannahan is the STUPIDEST thing they've ever done, bar none...blame him for a dec season (8-8...not good but not tht bad...). how many losing seasons under him? that's rite, less than most coaches int the nfl had this entire season!!! and managing an 8-8 season with 7 RBs going on injury roster, as well as over half the starting D, is incredible...and look at his last few years of drafts: he's setting up for the future of the franchise by getting new, young D players, as well as offensive weapons to compliment the relatively young O line...now, take the genius out of the equation and what have you got? no one to finish what he started: Super Bowl run...if anyone should have been fired, it should have been the strength/health trainers...
1) not a fumble. watch the laces on the ball...you can see...
The NFL disagrees with you

whooo, tht was a LOT!!! lolz!!!
Cocky is a matter of perspective. Im a Steeler fan living in Chicago. Do you know how annoying it is to hear about the Bears from July till December?
I think every fan of every team of every sport will seem cocky. Its afterward that you separate honest fans from the annoying ones.
Man, i do agree it was a mistake in firing Shanahan. I'm not looking foward to this season. THe only bright thing is it's the Pat's offensive Coordinator if I remember correctly.

I was shocked to hear Shanahan was fired, though when you blow that big a lead. Wasn't it something like a 4 game lead with 5 games left? The fact that one of those loses was to the Raiders didn't help either.
Also, I was a steelers fan growing up, SI for kids really pushed Kordell "Flash" Stewart and Jerome "The Bus" Bettis in their magazines, but grew into the Raiders just in time for "The Tuck Game." A travesty to sports, but I'm over it. Not bitter at all. "Goes and Punts a kitten."
*catches the punted kitten, now a symbol of who has the floor...*
well, i say that they are cocky in a general form. there are exceptions, but very few. many other teams have the same perspective, that they're fav team is THE best, hands down, because they won a Super Bowl in 19 w/e, or they have the most SB wins, or what have you, and the bears' fans tend to be just as bad, but steelers fans, by far, are the cockiest (no offense to any of you...)
and, yes, i agree that it is at least an offensive tactician ataking over...cutler, as was blatantly obvious in the earlier half of the season, has the potential, and is starting to grow into it, to do amazing things, even put himself up in line with some of the demi-gods of nfl folk lore by the end of the year. and marshal and royal...put lightly, they are the #3 reciever duo, in my opinion, in the league, next to fitzgerald/boldin @ #1 and moss/welker @ #2...those 3, paired with the big surprise in peyton hillis, could be absolutely devastating in a recently defense-dominate NFL...
but... *throws kitten with much aggression in a random direction* firing shannahan was stupid as hell...
