I don't know if someones asked this before or not, but when ascending, can Untrained Mercs be counted among the Untrained Units if you don't have enough at the time?

Okay.. so they can help, but only through strength in numbers. The 'usual' amount of UM's does jack all for your ascension.

if you pit the ammount of APP for Untrained mercs versus the APP for plain naq,,,, the naq will be more.

What Uni was saying is, yes I have a good deal of APP from mine, but I have a rather large collection. What most people would have in untrained mercs is not worth the effort in gathering them for an ascention.
