[spoiler]I'm kinda surprised Mal took Jayne back after everything he's done....I mean, they recruited him by outbidding his current employers (who he then shot) by offering a better cut and his own room, he threw his mate on the Canton job out of the ship to save the money, he let the fed go in the first episode on the promise of money, now he sold out river and simon to the feds....If it weren't for the fact that I knew he was in later eps, I might have thought it was the end of Jayne....[/spoiler]

Quality indeeed. Firefly is just visual gold... i would almost rate it as good as Dr.Who

I think its better than doctor Who visual wise, Some of the angles and shots and actual visuals it uses are immense.

And they employ odd camera techniques, Like shakey lense and stuff...

Finally got to the last episode....wasn't really a stand-out episode at the end there.....and hardly had any Jayne in (although what there was, was good), but loved the series. Really can't understand why they dropped it.

Oh well. Serenity tommorrow night

I thought objects in space was pretty good, apparently that was gunna be teh back episode for anouther one which also had the guy who was the bounty hunter in it, he was a wonderful character!

Good film. Although in the first ten minutes of the crew scenes, the acting seemed really forced, accents kinda not right....guess after a break of a few years that'll happen, and I probably wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't just come from the series. Definitely worth a watch, and worth its 9.5 imdb rating for firefly, and 8 rating for serenity

They had to tone down a couple of things and not go so far into the back storey as Joss would have liked, but i think they made it decent enough, for both fans and as a stand alone film (i actually saw the film before the series).

That being said, [spoiler]They did have a few little inside jokes, like when they are disscussing what to do about the doc, and jayne is like "OMG hand them in reward" and mal is like *Facepalm* <3 Jayne.[/spoiler]

btw when i said visual wise i didnt really mean techniques i was refering as in overall. Dr. Who is epic, but Firefly is a love i can never forget...
