Okay so here goes. I would like to announce that technoboy is no longer in control of this account as I purchased it from him earlier today.

I know the history of this account and I am sorry to anyone who was scammed by technoboy. If you wish you can contact me on MSN (norbe@jakazid.net) but please bear in mind that the account came as a shell and I dont have the resources to replace what you lost.

I have set all relations to neutral and will cease all hositilities previously from this account. I know many of you will have questions so please go ahead.

As for why I purchased this account, I wanted to play again and unfortunately there is no such thing as a perfect account on the market.

I can attest that Norbe does have ownership of the account which is named (for now i assume) technoboy. I was part of the MSN conversation and helped with a 3rd party as a neutral holder of the payment.

I am sure if you go through the logs and restore any lost units or scammed UU/Naq caused by the account that everyone will be sure to remove it from the mass/sit lists.

I'm sure he doesn't have and will not produce that many units.

Though I'm equally sure not many people care. He's taken over a scammers account. It's up to him now to show that he can play with honour to overcome the stigma on the account.

Yes, I admit that would be the ideal thing to do. Unfortanately the account is just a shell now so no UU or naq. It would take me a very long time to replace it all out of the UP. Tracing where the resources went is also difficult as it went back and forth, often directly by the looks of it. I estimate the total of what he has taken to be around 120-150m UU. With a 150k UP thats uhrm... 1000 days.

If the people who have been scammed wish to contact me I will try to find some way to help, even if it is just a small token payment compared to what they lost.

A little harsh? I wouldn't have bought the account, but that's norbe's judgement.

If the account has any distinct bonuses gained from scamming then norbe should pay the price for that. However, if it is a regular old shell then norbe shouldn't be held accountable for the account's past.

Its like if you buy a warehouse full of stolen goods. You should give the goods back. But if you just buy an empty warehouse that happened to house stolen goods in the past, then you've done no wrong by me.

I think Norbe is a sound guy and his rep will save him, but Mag I disagree. He gave a known scammer a way out and a new hidden identity to scamm more with, so yes he did help a scammer, tho I honestly feel that wasn't his intention.

I was assuming he didn't buy it for much (considering how cheap things are nowadays) - if technoboy wants to scam again, he will. If he's any good as a scammer, he could start virtually from scrap and being scamming again in no time.....

No offense Norbe, but you had to know he was a scammer if you even remotely looked in forums.

No use in crying over spilt milk, its all said and done now, so go build that account and get back ingame
