QUANTUM ERA 18 - WORLDS OF THE OLD GODS
This quantumverse has never let their old religions, their multiple gods, fade. In fact, we now know that belief from our dimension floods power towards the higher dimensions where the Ascended beings (aka Gods) live. But in this quantumverse, the Ori never took control; the Inquisition never occured; religion and belief was never fettered.
Instead, a multitude of Gods --now ancient-- flurished. Enough devotion, sacrifice, belief and -for some reason- Naquadah, not only keep the Ancient Gods alive, but powerful. Very powerful. And - for a price, a God (or 10, or 20, or 2000 Gods) that will fight on your side...

Idea on itself sounds nice to me, but I indeed hope it's not like you said Hippy...wouldn't be nice if gods would just turn out to be dragons, but with higher power and an option to instant-heal them

As I recall, everyone was pretty excited about dragons until they realised that Dragons were basically useless.

If this is the same deal, but the new unit is actually useful, and has extra options like being able to heal them, then I think it should be pretty interesting, even if its similar to the last era.

Hopefully, gods, being all powerul and all will just make everything you do better...
When you have a God watching over your shoulder, I'm sure the miners will work harder.. The soldiers will be fiercer, the baby makers will be.. better. etc

Or different types of gods (aka religions) which give different bonus ...
Christianity = baby boom
Judaism = income boom
Etc.

But they are much less effective if you have different types of gods.. And war gods wouldbe harder to kill than economic gods.

Should probably use Roman gods or something to prevent any religious upset.

Lmao Jason Well I could think of a few Greek gods, not Roman though (I'm just listening some presentations about Greece and their gods - am in school atm )
I guess Aphrodyta (however u spell it ) would help us with UP cause she's goodess of love and sex and stuff Athena with her width would help us when it comes to covert. Zeus, as he's a supreme god, would increase our overall stats and income (he influences units to be more powerfull, hard working and are more motivated)..Then there's someone who created gods..I think his name is Jack Oneil..he's god of war and when he's on your side, your opponent is automatically defeated

Anyway, I really hope the era's gonna be good and Gods won't be like dragons lol..Otherwise it's a joke.
EDIT: I reckon it's gonna be similiar to Happiness era, just with added special units (Gods) which'll be taken from Dragons era..

Well.... Gods are exactly the same as Dragons, lol, except they start off twice as strong and you can repair them.
